My group plays once a week. We will miss on occasion, but since 2001, we've been pretty steady.

We do take an occasional break, typically around the holidays, as people have a lot going on.

I allowed for multiple options if you have a couple of gaming groups or other circumstances.

I play two times every 2 weeks. Though because of Easter I haven't played in a few weeks :-\

I'd like to play some more.

I'm trying to write an actual adventure, something I've never been able to do :-\

I am running two games right now but it averages to one session per week. There'll be weeks with none, weeks with 2 or weeks with 1. I'm trying to get to a consolidated group gaming on 1 day of the week for next year- at the moment I have two groups, some of whom have other commitments and can only play sometimes. The Alexandrian's "open game table" article really inspired me to try something out with Ptolus.

It's averaged once every 2-3 months for a few years.

I'm going to make an attempt to get into (or start) a new Pathfinder campaign, and I'd be aiming for once every two weeks.

Once per week.

There were times where I had two or even three sessions a week, but that just became too much and, over time, cost me a lot of enthusiasm. I'd wish I would have sufficient time to follow all my interests and have more sessions, but I guess we're not as young as we used to be.

My current Full time campaign, which we are entering the end of :( is once every 2 weeks, I also fill in for my dad's group on a sunday if somebody is missing, which is quite a bit.

Used to do once a week, then upgraded to twice a week. Now just upgraded to 3 times a week. 3 different games with 3 different GM's. Lets see how long it lasts.

I've been able to keep up with that... it just sucks that 1 of my games died because the GM felt we were all expendable...

When we're actively playing, easily 1-2 times a week, but then something comes up and we don't get together for a couple months or more... thought it probably averages to once a month...

Twice a week. Thursdays after work and Saturday Afternoons.

My whole playgroup is 2-somethings with 9-5 type jobs that are either single or in stable childless relationships with other nerds. This probably makes scheduling easier than with other post-college groups.

Once a week on average. Have a new Shadowrun game I've been running for about the last two months, hoping I can keep it going for a while. Finally getting to use all my books just before the new edition drops... yay

Getting my group to meet more than once a month is like herding cats. I'm impressed that people can do it once a week.

I feel terrible -_-

I just got to college, and all my hall-mates were really hyped about getting an RPG started, and I was going to GM... but every time I try and have our first session I end up having a paper or something due the next day, or there's a dance going on... and so I haven't been able to start my RPG for a couple months now. The way it looks I will have to start at the beginning of next semester when nothings going on.

The advent of cheap multiple person video chat and decent free online tabletops has made it much easier for me to game with my friends, because we can do it from our homes.

Bringer: I think you are doing it right. Dances and papers are more important than gaming, especially papers. I'm sure those of us who have been through college have seen people get swallowed up by gaming and drop out.

The summer holidays were the craziest time for me- one summer I was working in an ecology lab with no real responsibilities outside showing up every day. We had 5 games a week at that time, and I was running two of them. Mental. Wouldn't do it again but we got a lot done.

I host a DH game on skype that usually has 2-3 play nights a week on average. I also play 3.5 D&D as a player semi regularly. Software like skype and virtual palying tables/whiteboards are great for flexibility.
