I'm thinking of starting a custom chapter army to help with my wanderlust. This army will hopefully be able to switch between DA, SM, BA, and and maybe SW. With DV being cheap it looks like many of the models will be DA. So in keeping with the 'Angels' icons how does Emporer's Angels sound? What are some of your custom chapter names? What are some of your favorites that you've heard of?

Doesn't sound bad, but a bit similar to Emperor's Children. I guess they will be the Fallen, or using the DA codex or be regular SM?

One of my personal favorites has been the fire drakes. Using some greenstuff to make a scale effect on their shoulders pads and painting with an orange, yellow and red color scheme would be cool.

Then there's the Shark Marines, and the Emperor's Wrath are a few others.

My (retired) chapter is named "the Gallowsmen." You can read their fluff here.

My original plan was to make my army so it could use the DA and BT codex. But it turned into the vanilla and DA codex. The chapter name is Angelic Crusaders, it was at first Dark Templar(which turns out to be an actual chapter name). I've played around with their fluff and name a bit. I like the idea of custom names and fluff, just adds that +1 to your army.
