Subject: Kroot Razorbeak (Counts-as Dark Eldar Razorwing Flock)
Here is my take on the Razorwing Flock. I've tried to make it look like another evolutionary offshoot of the Kroot. It's the Dark Elf War Hydra model from the Warmaster range, with a few minor conversions. The scale actually works pretty well, and the heads are very similar to the Kroot look. They would be part of a large beast pack with counts-as Khymerae Kroot Hounds. My favorite part, five heads to represent the five attacks and five wounds of the Razorwing Flock. It has always bothered me that the Razorwing Flock model came four birds to a base, and a lot of people even reduced that to two or three so that they could have more bases. I have three more to make, so any comments or suggestions on how to spruce it up would be welcome.
I think it looks sweet and totally fits the kroot vibe. Though i do wonder why the kroot would bother holstering a gun to it. I think the quills and war paint tie them enough together.
