I don't know why but, I have become curious as to whether Magnus the Red physical appearance changed drastically upon becoming a daemon prince or whether or not he was one of the luckier daemon princes of tzeentch and didn't get a whole bunch of heads and birdwings coming out of his body. In Betrayer he keeps his original form but as he gets more agitated it becomes harder for him to control it.
He does not reveal his true form though the Word bearer primarch tries to goat him into it
