Subject: Optimal transport case for my budding army?

Despised Traitorous Cultist

Hey all, I've been browsing the web for good cases for my 40k army and am totally stumped!
I've mostly been getting suggestions for KR or Battle Foam so I checked out their sites and I really like the Aluminum case that KR offers, though BF's P.A.C.K. system is pretty nifty as well.
As for my army, I currently only have the following CSM but may look to expand in the future and also grab a Chaos and/or Tyranid army:
1x Daemon Prince
1x Heldrake
1x Bike
1x Helbrute
8x Terminator base models (5x Spawn, 3x Obliterators)
42x 25mm models (20x Cultists, 6x Chosen, 1x Sorcerer, 1x Lord, 14x Plague Marines)
I'm possibly going to be grabbing 7-10 more 25mm base models, a few Rhinos (probably not), and a Forgefiend.
What would you suggest on grabbing as a case?
Thanks all!

Hmm, well I've done a little bit more research on my own and have brought the choices down to BF's P.A.C.K. 432 and KR's Standard Aluminum case. Including shipping costs, the KR will cost me roughly $98 USD while the P.A.C.K. will end up somewhere around $160 USD. Does anyone with either or both cases have any feedback on them?

There's loads of threads here about them - one of these threads gets posted every week it seems. Have a search in the articles system, I'm pretty sure there are some reviews in there. Alternatively, do a search in the forums - like I said, there are loads of threads debating the pros and cons of each.

I Just recently got two boxes (about the size of a pizza box) at a local arts and crafts store called Michael's. They are tall enough to hold heightened chaos terminators with spits. The boxes themselves are tall but don't look the part. 1 box holds my model heavy 1800 pt army
This just goes to show that their are finds to be had at your local arts and crafts shop. A little bit of looking and hard work can go a long way, And it is the cheaper option.

I can definitely recommend KR - but one of their strengths is their versatility. Instead of an aluminium case., I.d recommend getting one of their card cases inside a Kaiser bag - it will be much more versatile in the future, since when you have more armies you can just expand the number of (cheap) card cases you need.

I own the P.A.C.K 432 and I think its worth the money. Its pricier then the KR cases, which also seem great, but I can vouch for the P.A.C.K 432 and the P.A.C.K plus bag which i also own for ease of stacking

I'll vouch for the kR cases too. My first was an aluminium one with their vehicle pluck foam for my IG army. It is a fine case and it comfortably fits about 6 tank, 2 sentiels and two platoons of infantry (about 1500) but for bigger games I did need more space.
Now that is more to do with the IG than the case but I did think that the card cases would have been a better starting point for me as my cases just go from shelf to car to games club and back and the card case is more than robust. I bought my 8th or 9th card case this week so am a little biased.
The precut custom foam (isn't that an oxymoron? ) might suit your new big chaos models if they are doing them yet at a nice low price point.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Also their backpacks that fit the card case are pretty cool too.
