Perfect Shot Dark Angels Predator Pilot

I hated modeling my TFC, but I loved painting them and their tech marines.

I love modeling and magnetizing marine tanks and land speeders, but I don't like painting the tanks, too much flat space, it gets boring.

The only thing I really enjoy both modeling and painting are usually characters. Lots of room for customizing them, adding bits and conversions, magnetize their weapons, and it's fun to go all out on a single guy while painting.

To be fair, I'm kind of a bad painter, so I don't really enjoy it much. But I LOVE modeling! The TFC is just a know pain to put together.

My two cents

"And the Angels of Darkness descended on pinions of fire and light... the great and terrible dark angels."

I always had fun painting Tyranids and now Plague Marines.

If you're looking for modeling and painting, then orks would be best. Being able to take parts from random kits and make a working unit was always a fun idea, but I'm not crafty enough for that. Lol

The Trygon is my favorite to paint, also Warriors of Chaos in fantasy is fun to paint, its a bit of flat surfaces, but there is so much detail inbetween the armor plates.

I love building, modeling and painting Tyraninds and Eldar. Both said armies have provided me with tons of amusment of the years.
But my favorite kit has changed from the humble Tyranid Warrior to the more flashy Grey Hunters for space wolves.

Recently been working on a XV-104 riptide, and its been a lot of fun to build, one of GW's best fitting models IMO, and just started painting it, I recommend doing it in parts since it has a lot of overhang details.

Ive always thought an Ork HQ would be fun to paint, always had my eye on painting a Killa Kan or Dred to. Alot of theOrk HQs and Elites offer a ton of great conversion and painting options I would think.

Id recommend Ghazkull, so much potential to make such a nice miniature.

Dreadnoughts. Nice kits that go together well, tons of options, look cool.

Kitbashes and conversions are always the most fun to model. Especially that satisfying feeling when you sit back and look at the finished product and think, "Yeah, that's badass." Plus the satisfaction that it was your own creation/customization that you likely won't see elsewhere.

Depend's what you like. If you like lot's of ornate detail, grey knight paladin's. If you like big, impressive models, the daemon prince (Fantasy-aimed version) is fantastic, as well as many of the larger tyranid models.

If you like to go for realism, a guardsman might be the best model to try this on. If you like the comic book styling of future heroes, a space marine.

I really enjoyed painting Typhus, but that would be because I love him. Also just kit bashed some Cadians and some WHFB VC zombies together to make some plague zombies, which got me 30 of them. I have to say, they are an absolute blast to paint, many sickly details to paint , as well as an array of different weapons in their hands etc.
Very fun indeed.

With an army background and general interest in modern military i got to admit that i enjoy painting IG stuff. Especially the Valkyrie has a nice detailed kit where you can spent quite some time to finish it.
Second comes my LRC, so obviously i like painting the big models most
