I like bluddflagg the most, his personality, he is dead 'ard, and he seems to be the most level headed of all warbosses.

Then I'd say Gorgutz 'ead 'unter, although he wasn't very good in soulstorm, he was always hilarious in dark crusade.

Ghazghkull is pretty cool, but he doesn't seem as awesome as the other two.

And I'd be lying if I said I wasn't rooting for Grimskull in space marine. That scene where
Spoiler:
he is knocked off the platform, then climbs back up and says "I ain't so easy to kill, heh heh heh..."
, priceless.

Where does it say that The Beast reached Terra? I'm pretty sure it's not the case (as far as I know, the only ones who have beseiged Terra are Humans and arguably Daemons (and Space Marines if you don't count them as Humans).

In terms of Awsome, Beast, if I want to know more about a warboss before I make my decision, well it would have to be Blaktoof, Overfiend of Octarius.

Here is an ork that demonstrates that orks do have cunning and tactics. I really wish his entry didn't get cut out of the current book. He really opened up some play options back in third.

Hope feeds Tzeentch, who will do horrible things to your planet to reward you for your service. Ergo, Hope is evil, and you should stop having it, but you can't have despair because then Nurgle gets a free ride. You could be angry about this, but that'd just get Khorne's jollies off. And heck you can't even get your own jollies off without Slaanesh giggling and farting out some daemons. And if you manage to avoid all that, some genestealers might infiltrate your planet and bring a hive fleet crashing down on you any way.

I dunno.... I think "AY! IZ WUNTS DAT SPARKLY FING SPACE MARINE!" is just a bit higher from Space Marine. On that note, I like the DoW II (Bloodflagg?) ork (Irish/british sounding) freeboota:
"Frow in dat hat and yeh gots yerself a deal" or even better: "IM GONNA SMASH ME SOME PONCY ELDAR!"

Gorgutz 'Ead'unta got me into the game, so I gotta give it to him. From fluff for the tabletop, I'd say the one (name escapes me) who accidentally time traveled and then killed himself to get a duplicate of his favorite shoota.

The Beast for sure. I just wish we had more information on him than "he led an apocalyptic waaaagh". Maybe in the next codex.

Next up is Ghazzy

Bluddflagg.

Bluddflagg is what made Retribution better than every other DoW game ever.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

Tuska the daemon killa and that Ork pirate from DOW 2 Retribution.

Stated by Grey Templar:The Ward of the Codices
"It began, with the writing of the Great Codices,
2 were given to the Eldar. Immortal, Capricious, and most farsighted of all,
2 also to Chaos. Traitorous, Deceitful, Servants of the Dark Gods,
3 to the Xenos races. T'au, Orks, and Necrons. the Young, the Beast, and the Spiteful,
7 to the race of men. Servents of the God Emperor, the Inheritors of the Galaxy.

But they were all of them, decieved. for another Codex was written…
In the Land of Ward'or, in the Fires of Mount Doom, the Dark Lord Matthew wrote in secret, a Master Codex, to rule all the others. One by one, all the armies of the other Codices fell to the power of the Codex, and from this Darkness, none could see hope.

But there were some, who resisted. a Last Alliance of Men and Xenos took up arms against the forces of Ward'or and on the Slopes of Mount Doom they fought for the freedom of 40k."

Outer Space, Apparently

Unless its my custom one, Blacktoof, then it would definitely be Bluddflagg, cos that's where I got the inspiration in the first place. I have never played a grim dark war game where I have laughed so much

"even eldar corpses is too fancy..."
"'salready mine! dey just don't know it yet..."

"Oi! twiggy! what do you and all ya boyz, and some jammy paste 'ave in common? come 'ere, I'll show ya!"

"ya got gutz twiggy, I'll give ya that... deyz all over the floor, looook!"
