How do I react when my friends to past the GW store while I'm there and shout *my name really loud* as if they're making fun of me I don't know but thy still talk to me at school but not that often every time they're with their friends in the mall as thy to where the gw store is often by coincidence I always see them. P.s. my other friend called warhammer for losers I said that you don't even know what it is and probably think I'm a stereotypical nerd gamer. Anyways any feedback is nice

You fool me once I'm mad.

Sounds like relatively harmless teasing. I'd just live with it and move on.

Whoa, might wanna rewrite that. From what I gathered, id say just, whenever they decide to chastise you, put out your chest, stand up straight, and just say its not funny and that they should quit disrespecting something that means something to you.

lol sounds like it's been a long time since you were in high school.
I agree with the 1st response, it's just teasing, don't let it get to you. Hell I'm in my 20s and my friends still make fun of me for warhammer.

Just ignore it and keep doing what you enjoy, friends tease about everything and anything its just one way of passing the time and making people feel involved. Aslong as it isnt malicious they're probably just messing around

Them yelling your name is better than them ignoring you!
Sounds like harmless teasing, as long as they are just shouting your name and not expletives. Of course with teenage boys, they might yell expletives in an endearing way haha

Just tease them back, banter is unavoidable, it'll go on for the rest of your life son, I'd just say get used to it and dish it back out, it'll die down once your friends realise you can dish it back and you don't really care what they say.

When I owned a Game/Comic shop, there was a drunk frat boy that would stumble pass on the weekends and pop in and ask if I "had the Goblin Card!" and run out, other times he would scream how "powerful the Goblin card is" ask if I had it, and then run out.
So I got some Magic and Yu Gi Oh! cards with Goblins on them, and started answering. I kept them close enough to hold up and shout yes. After me doing it twice, he stopped. Guess the fun was over for him when I answered, and held them up in front of the people he was with.
As for people giving me crap about it now, playing games, I tend to point out it's like playing Monopoly for people with an IQ. Now I ask them how their fantasy Football team is doing, and when they answer, cause they like to brag, I stop them, and ask "So you are pretending to own people, who are playing a game that you are not?" which leads to them rambling about math and skill, and I just shrug and say "Well I have to paint, which I am sure you can't, and I have to play the game, while you watch other people play the game you take part in" and walk away. If they push it, I ask if they knew a few World Poker champs, started off with Magic the Gathering.
Just got to blow them off and talk down to them a little, while pointing out the play silly little games too. Just don't push it to hard or you seem like you are trying to prove a point, and not make fun of them.
But if al else fails, remind them Vin Diesel is a huge D&D geek, Robin Williams plays 40K, and Weird Al is a huge gamer too.

Yeah, just own up to playing with toys and laugh with your friends.
I think if you become defensive or start feeling like less of a man (or woman? To stay politically correct?) That's when things fall apart.
Like what was before mentioned: its better that friends are not avoiding you. That being said: Don't Give Into Peer Pressure!!!
Stand up for your army men or don't, but always stand up for yourself and don't do drugs, son!
Carry on.

Could you write that again in coherent English? I kind of get the gist of what you're saying but if it was written clearer and with better grammar you might get some more insightful responses.
I'm guessing you're a young teenager or something by the way these people are acting and how you write. Just brush it off. Tease em back if it's friendly, if it's becoming antagonistic tell them to stop.

I'm in my 30's and my friends badgered me into playing 40k with them. I have an athlete (trainer), an officer in the army and a person doctoring in microbiology in my gaming group.

40k is wicked nerdy.
Just gotta deal with that stuff.
Sidenote though, your 'friends' should know that one hobby doesn't really define you as a person.
I'm a wargamer. I'm also a US Army Infantryman, fraternity brother, zombie-book fan, Republican, Dog-lover, who loves rock music and action movies.
So am I a nerd? Maybe, maybe not.
Do I enjoy some things that are nerdy? Definitely.
Do I let any one aspect of who I am/what I like define me as a whole? Definitely not.

It is. And to the OP, you'll find as you get older plenty of people who are not nerdy at all who get their nerd on by playing wargames. As others suggested, throw some back at them. Don't be ashamed of something you like.

You sound like you're at a young age. Once you graduate college and enter the working world, you won't really care if people think you're cool or not.
If you think they're making fun of you, flip them off and go back to your business. If you think they're just giving you a friendly greeting, smile and wave or something similar.

that sucks that it's in a mall. you'll lose -10000 street cred points everytime you walk in there. the girls you know probably walk by there and laugh at you too, you just didnt realize.
im married and have a kid and i still feel a bit uncomfortable walking into a mall GW lol.
you should find some other gaming store that's more tucked away or really far away. then you can just nerd it up in there for as long as you want.
edit: and saying that when you're older you wont care doesnt really say anything or solve or help the situation at all. if i make it to 95 yearsold i probably wont care if i gak myself, that doesnt mean that i should start gaking myself now and start wearing diapers. IDK where im going with that or if it makes sense but hopefully you get my point. LOL.

Pick the leader of the group. Slap him with a chainmail gauntlet and challenge him to a duel with weapons of your choice (either pistol or sabre). If he accepts, you kill him and become the coolest kid in school. If he declines, he will have lost all honour and no woman will ever consider marrying such a coward and a fool. If he kills you, you are a nerd and died a deserving death.
