I would pick Larry Elmore of D+D and Star Frontiers and TSR in general fame (just google his name and drool over his art)
and ALex Ross , who is from Marvel, DC, dynamite, image and other comics fame.... again just GOOGLE alex ross and drool....
I am bringing this up, because i did not Care for the COVER of 40K 6th edition....the main character on the cover looked CHUBBY! who would you

One of the strongest assets GW's always had has been its artists.

While I like Elmore, his style isn't a good fit for 40k.

Adrian Smith on the Sisters cover art would be too pimp for words.

Sam Keith, the guy who did The Maxx comic. That super exaggerated watercolor style might be kinda odd on grimdark marines and imperial stuff but it would be amazing for chaos.

Another choice would be Brom. All his stuff is stark and emaciated and unhappy, would be great for any flavor of Imperium.

I used to have this art book that I got for free for some reason (it was a special promotion for a short period of time at GW I think it was for ordering a certain amount of mail order) but I can't for the life of me remember the artist in the book. I really liked his style of artwork though and if it was upto me he would still be doing all the art for 40k (if he already isn't). Help me out here guys!

Other then that I'd like to see a Salvidor Dali style Chaos Daemons book.

EDIT: I found it, John Blanche was the author and the book was given away as part of the "Skulz" program. Wonder how much it's worth now....
