I think the main ordnance rule woudl still apply - if you shoot ordnance then all other weapons must Snap-Fire.
but i think they can still fire multiple weapons.

I didn't realise the Riptide had an ordnance weapon. It can get large blasts out of the Ion Accellerator, but is it also Ordnance?
|

Ion accelerator has 3 firing modes. The nova charge changes the ap2 S8 large blast into S9 ordinance.

Unfortunately no as per the Ordnance rule. In fact it can't even shoot its secondary weapon or charge if it does fire Ordnance.
"A non-vehicle model carrying an Ordnance weapon cannot fire it in the Shooting phase if he moved in the preceding Movement phase and cannot fire it as Snap Shots. Furthermore, if a non-vehicle model fires an Ordnance weapon, then the massive recoil from the Ordnance weapon means that the model cannot fire other weapons that phase, nor will it be able to charge in the ensuing Assault phase."

Not only is it not useful, it must be really hard to achieve given how mobile Tau usually like to stay. I guess you stick with the normal Ion overcharge and ripple fire your secondaries.

AS he is a MC ,he can move and fire one ordnance weapon ( MC has Relentless),but can't fire any more weapon; and he can charge in the same turn as he has Relentless.

Its a fair point. They also get relentless for being jet pack troops. Do you get anything for being double ultra relentless?

But if you look in the rule book it states that a MC has the Relentless rule so can move then fire ordnance weapons as if it was stationary... Now i know it states noware that it can fire two weapons if it fires ordnance but in the Tau codex it states under support systems that you can equip a Multi Tracker which allows you to fire an extra weapon... so would this upgrade allow you to fire a second weapon at normal BS if you have Nova Charged and fired ordnance. As you can move with the relentless rule ( MC) fire an ordnance weapon (after nova charge) BUT would the multi tracker allow you to fire your second weapon as riptide can fire 2 anyway so why give you the option to upgrade to fire an aditional weapon when the only time you will need to is only when after firing the ordnance weapon????? Please somone HELP

That's gonna need a FAQ, but I'd say no, based on the precedence of the machine spirit vs popping smoke. (machine spirit states you can fire one more weapon than otherwise, popping smoke brings you down to 0 weapons, and people wanted machine spirit to make that 1. FAQ says no.)
