Every time my little group does a team game, it's kind of a fluff massacre.

The closest we can get to a feasible combination is Tau or Wolves + Eldar vs. Chaos Space Marines and Necrons. We've had Necrons and Eldar on the same team, we've had Chaos Space Marines and Grey Knights on the same team, we've had Tyranids and Space Marines on the same team...

My Space Wolves all have black and red armour (including the named characters). I offer no justification, because all my justifications have been stupid and even worse fluff massacres.

Since all the Space Wolf Lords are named in the codex, making up my own name for my Lord could theoretically be called fluff massacre.

Also, not one I do, but any SW player who names their list ___-wing commits fluff massacre.

DE with Slaanesh Daemons...

Perfectly legal, but despite a particularly dumb archon having actually done this in the fluff it's still a brain-hurting travesty...

The Viletide: Daemons of Nurgle/Deathguard: 7400 pts
Disclples of the Dragon - Ad Mech - about 2000 pts
GSC - about 2000 Pts
Rhulic Mercs - um...many...
Circle Oroboros - 300 Pts or so
Menoth - 300+ pts

A buddy ran DE + spacewolves. Which we then teamed with my Daemons in a doubles game. Against Marines & IG. I'm really, really curious as to how that rune priest justified his decisions.

I continue with my big plan for my Necron Overlord: A female Overlord named Kleo'ptra that also works as a "count-as" Nemesor Zahndrekh. Not only that, I want my Vargard Obyron "count-as" to be her "Guard Captain" and previous lover before they exchanged their mortal bodies for the living metal ones.

The thought of a female necron and "feelings" (even if they are pre-living metal) in a Necron army? I am sure the New-crons haters out there want to kill me.

Farsight Tau with badly damaged equipment and battle fatigued paintworks and just generally gritty look to them, with Eldar allies.

Tau is normally painted like they are fresh out of the shop at all times, mine however looks like they been in battle for decades.

How about an apocalypse game with Marines vs Chaos...well, ok, versus everyone-but-Marines...with the Chaos side headed up by the Marine player with the most points. Yes there were that many Marines...

Try this from my most recent Apoc game.

Space Marines (Blood Angels, Dark Angels, and Wolves), Imperial Guard, Eldar, Orks, and Tyranids on one side. The other side: Chaos Marines, Daemons, Dark Eldar, Necrons, and Codex: Space Marines (Iron Hands).

Someone must have really paid off the Orks big time for this considering Ghazzy, Grotsnik, a bunch of Meganobz, and a Stompa were included in the Ork list. And the Tyranids must have been hit with some sort of radical new Adeptus Mechanicus weapon that made the Hive Mind change its mind. Meanwhile, Ferrus Manus' legion wasn't unexpected to fall; he and Fulgrim were probably more than just friends (not here to judge). Dark Eldar just wanted the spoils. I can't think of an explanation for Necrons though.

Not if you say your Lord is a successor to one of the named Lords who died, if you say they're one of the lost companies or if you say your army's from M32-39.5.

I suppose at worst I run a Harpy and a Malanthrope in the same list.

Or there was the time I had a 2 on 2 match with nids, even though my ally was another nid army.

...it's kind of hard to massacre nid fluff, because they're always OMNOMNOM regardless of the situation

ally them with anything but nids (even nids is picky, different tendrils of hive fleets kill eachother to exterminate the weaker)
For me, when my Crimson Fists allied with the orks in a 6k apoc game. Too bad I hadn't painted up a Rynns Might before I swapped em to sallies...

The last game I played was a 3 vs. 2, 3500pt per side.

The teams consisted of: Tau w/ Eldar Allies + Daemons + CSM w/Daemon Allies vs. Tyranid + Blood Angels.

It was kind of funny watching Flying Hive Tyrants escort a Stormraven around and a Keeper of Secrets acting as the Farseer's personal bodyguard. Sure it made your head hurt, but whatcha gonna do?

I painted up a Black Templar Librarian many years ago. My friend was huge on them, since they'd just came out, so I decided to paint my Librarian for my Deathwatch Kill Team (BT already have a turbulent enough relationship with the Inquisition) as a Black Templar, even painted his robe the same crimson my mate used for his crusade's tabbards.

Don't even get me started. We play 2 on 2 a lot.

Although I think the absolute worst matchup I've ever played in was Chaos and Inquisition vs Tau and Orks. There is absolutely no level on which those pairings make sense.

Personally, my Tau force contains no Ethereal. He died to Chaos pirates on a routine patrol. The rest of the Cadre kinda snapped, massacred the pirates in a boarding action (I imagine stealth suits would be pretty horrifying in close quarters), and are currently pushing their way across the galaxy to get to the Eye of Terror and show these "Chaos Gods" the glory of the Greater Good by means of a rail gun to the face.

Also, while playing, I once had a Callidus Temple assassin pop out next to one of my fire warrior squads. She used the "flamer that targets leadership" thing and only my sergeant survived. The assassin then charged into combat and...wiffed all her attacks, then the shas`ui killed her!

Sometimes, when you're really, really drunk, you will get Ideas that seem to be the most brilliant, insightful concepts that humanity is capable of.

Normally, you later get sober and realize that, no, no, that was a stupid, stupid, *stupid* idea. In some cases, though, sobriety never comes...

Mmm... I think there are 3 or 4 I can think of.

First, my main army is a group of Sisters of Battle who've turned against the Imperium and helped the locals commandeer a planet.

Second, my secondary army is a group of Chaos Marines who've turned away from Chaos because of some pretty words this one guy said or something. Oh, I use the vanilla Marines codex for them.

Third, those two previous groups get along pretty well and fight for the same guy and stuff.

And fourth, I have a number of models that use a mix of parts to make furry Space Marines. And if we ever get plastic models for the Sisters of Battle, I'm gonna make some furry Sisters of Battle too. : D

That's not a fluff massacre in the slightest. Space Wolves are already furry Space Marines! Just don't call them that to their face...

Nnnnno, I mean like Lizardmen parts - okay, technically those are scalies, but they're a subgroup of furries in my mind - and that one Space Wolf helm - I must have bought like 3-4 boxes of the Space Wolf Pack kit JUST for those heads. The rest of those kits are great for providing parts for sergeants though. ^^ - plus some wolf tails from the WHFB Goblin Wolf Riders kit to make a fox-dude. Okay, many fox dudes. Like, at least 7-8 fox dudes. Probably more.
