This thread is to talk about the dreams you have had in the previous couple of nights. Some of them will be crazy, some of them will be boring. It's just a chance to swap funny stories about our crazy sub-conscious.

I had two interesting dreams in the last week.

1. This dream had a cinematic persepctive. The earth had beenhit by a comet, and was a post-apoc world. My family and I were living int he ruins of our house, hidden int he basement. At night, we would scurry out and gather supplies such as fodstuffs, weapons, fuel etc, and return to our basement and hide it away. We could not go out during the day as there were bands of roaming cannibals, mutants and bandits.

I awoke violently from this dream when I realized that there was no way my wife could be aliv ein post-apoc world due to her medical condition.

2. This one also used cinematic, third person perspective. I watched as a pair of comically archetypical Russian Mobster brothers made an explosive escape from a police chase. They fled Russia and made their way ot New England. There they set-up shop as the long lost relatives of a pair of high brow WASPS. Later, the entire town and the local gentry gathered at the WASP sisters estates for a black tie party. The two Russian Mobsters were forced to fit in with these provincial, New England, elite. Hijinks ensued.

How about your recent dreams?

I dreamed that Snooki had had my child. No joke. You can't imagine how disturbed I was when I woke up.

The most recent dream i remember having involved a friend of mine chasing me through the streets of Melbourne with a pair of bolt cutters trying to cut my toes off so she could turn them into a necklace. Every time she'd get close some calamity befell her, like getting hit by a car or tripping over and impaling herself on the bolt cutters, and then i'd manage to get away only to find her waiting again round a corner ready to renew the chase.

This is missing something, was there a nightmare preceding this?

I dreamt I was (literally) chewing someone's face off through a chainlink fence, near a cliff down in Dorset l'd visited as a kid, and eating their eyes... I have odd dreams...

Being chased by Cult of Convergence Robots (new army from Privateer Press) while trying to hide in my minecraft cave.

Majority of my dreams I can't remember.

Had sex.


Also had one where an old school friend told me that if I gave Purplefood a meat pie then he'd give me a song in return, and that his songs are really good.

Honestly, I can never remembers my dreams. I certainly know when I have them, cause I wake up and I know I was dreaming but when I try to think of what it was about I draw a blank.

Last dream I really remember I was at my school on the run from giant roaches for some reason but that was back in high school.

I once had a dream where I went through my normal day, but I and everything I touched was on fire. And by the end I was screaming my head off, and began falling into a pit to the centre of the earth.

I wonder why I get accused of being a pyromaniac.

I just recently had a dream I was working back at the airport and bringing in a bunch of plains in, at it was quite foggy, so we had to be careful.

They're also expensive. Ain't no lapdance worth that much.

I dreamed that I had to work from home due to a terribel wind storm. Then, my alarm went off and I turned it off because I was working from home that day anyway.

Next thing I know, Luke Skywalker is at my house after losing to Vadar on Bespin and needs Medical attention for his missing hand. Saurak shows up and insists on Vulcan mind melding with Luke , but General Madine refuses since it would give away all of the rebels scerets.

That's when I realized I wasn't really working from home that day and I better wake up right now!

I have had some random ones while in Japan involving women in kimonos with loose morals. Some times dreams DO come true!

I sat and wrote for awhile near a zen garden today, I wish I could have dreams like that, it was incredibly soothing.

A brief and very sucky haiku I wrote about the experience.

On further reflection I really need to never write haiku again.

been taking these anti malaria pills in the sandbox and they've been giving me weird visualistic dreams.

Was in the battle of hoth 3 nights ago but the snow speeder i was in had 3 people in the back (including me) with luke up in the front

Dak says to luke, "Hey if we crash and I get knocked out you're not going to leave me right?"

Luke says "nah man"

Another dream i had i woke up screaming and clawing at the ceiling, i think i was eating someone

The rest of the dreams were all about sex, then last night I was looking for someone to have sex with.

I have a reoccuring theme in nightmares, where there is some insidious threat that I am aware of and despite my warning, people are refusing to listen and are falling prey to it.

A couple of nights ago, this happened again, we were on some colossal paddleboat/steamer going up a river and everyone was wearing edwardian clothes, there were the xenomorphs from alien aboard, snatching people and making a nest in the lower section of the boat. I was trying desperately to warning people and they were just laughing it off and carrying on drinking and dancing, I could see the xenomorphs in the corners and dark places, taking people one at a time.

Then, as sometimes happens, I get the sense of things being a dream and am able to fight things and so started ripping into the aliens, tearing them up and punching through walls, fully hulking out. I often get that theme in a dream, it's usually the xenomorphs as they scared me as a kid, but also the borg or zombies, taking people out of the corner of my eye as I try to warn the rest who won't listen.

Woke up by sitting bolt upright in bed, punching fists out and Mrs S said I'd been snarling and kicking in my dream so she knew to just get up and leave me to it (as I get these fighting dreams fairly often).

Last night I had an awesome dream about being in a tropical fish shop full of fish with the most amazing colors I'd ever seen, I was opening the tops of the display tanks and they were swimming out of the water and into the air around me then I went outside and there were pearl gourami fish the size of zepplins flying overhead. That was cool.

My dreams generally involve me looking for a place to poop.

Must be important to my sub-conscious.

None, I did eat four pork chops though, and an avocado.

I haven't been dreaming much with this heat . Normally I can at least remember that I was having a dream, even if I don't remember specifics... Past week, nothing

I know that I have some strange dreams, but come the morning I can't remember them worth a damn. I think eating mustard before bed is meant to help with dream recall

An ex girlfriend of mine kept a notebook and a pen by the bed to write down her dreams before she forgot them after she'd woken.

My wife has a background in mental health. I might be scared of the conclusions that she'd reach with some of the more off the wall dreams

Yeah, when I wake up, I try to replay them in my head a few times. I then think about how I would write them. This helps me remember them.

Their was s stretch where I barely remembered any of my dreams, but lately they have been coming fast and vivid.

I find that the heat of the summer makes my dreams much more vivid

I had a dream the other day. I was living with a friend and, for a reason I can't quite remember, he was seething with rage. Red and everything.

I was in my room, reading or something, and he kicked the door in so hard the handle was imbedded in the wall. So I jumped to my feet to try and reason with him, but he moved to me quickly. When he was close enough I managed to push him over and out the door. I looked down and pulled out the big bottom draw of my bedside table thing and threw the entire contents over him. Which turned out to be completely full of Snickers bars.

As I threw them over him I advised him to eat them, because he gets a bit angry when he's hungry.

I'd say that the marketing works, but that's where the dream ends, so I don't know what happens next. :(

I don;t recall the entire dream, but I remember this littel tidbit.

I was in an airplane with a fro like humanoid wearing a tweedle-dee/tweedle-dum outfit. For some reason I kicked him out of an open door ont he plane. It was clinging to the door frame with its webbed fee and pleading at me with big froggy eyes. I walked over and stomped on his webbed fingers until he fell.

I then watched as he opend a white parachute and floated to down into the badlands below.

I know I dreamed other stuff, but it just didn't stay with me this morning.

Edit: Also, where I am at there is no summer heat. I think it is a simple case of mild anxiety leading to lucid dreaming and poor sleep. Nothing special.

I was making love to Scarlett Johansson in a ball pit.

Not a bad dream.

Ive got to start remembering more of mine, but the most i can recall is stalking enemy mechs in my personal Catapult K-2 (CPT K-2) "Nightwraith" through a vast network of canyons.

My dreams are annoying.

I keep dreaming about very real situations, that have already happened or will/may happen. Simple things like going out with some friends, editing in the basement. And it's annoying because I remember bits, and then can't remember if it actually happend or if I just dreamt it.
