Well.. The dialogue is still stale in delivery XD Somehow I had a feeling Yellow was going to beat people with her fists way bay in the Red Trailer. Gun fists though, didn't see that coming. Or that she'd go super saiyen.
Would still like to know what this story is about too. Guess I just have to keep waiting.
Yeah the delivery is still off. The Male actors feel to me to be the ones letting it down. We've all seen them go "rage mode" Yellows just the first to have actually physical effects. Wasn't a bad touch though.

I'm not even sure it's the voice actors at all. The way it plays in the audio sounds really stiff, kind of stop motion I guess? More like an editing problem synching up all the audio together so it flows fluidly. The flow is off.
EDIT: Right now it sounds like the voice actors are all standing at the mic taking turns reading the script of which they only have one copy and they have to pass it back and forth between themselves. The timing of it all is throwing me off.

Hmmm, I can kinda feel that. Might be. I'd think something this well done on the visual scale doing the audio right wouldn't be too hard, I however say that knowing nothing about what goes into this kind of thing!
Story wise it looks like Yellow's looking for Black. Least what she showed "Jr." seemed like her to me.
EDIT: Yeah I can see it when you put it like that. There's odd pauses in it. Seen best at the end between her and Red

What exactly are these about/for/to do with/etc, etc?
Whites fight scene kinda reminds me of the monastary fight in Sucker Punch although the knight guy looked a bit stilted in his movement. I also have a real soft spot for fight scenes like in Red movie
Well Jack's voice really isn't made for voice acting at all (He does the badguy.). And thank god they dind't give Yellow/Yang/Barbera any puns.
Poor ignorant guardsmen, it be but one of many of the great miracles of the Emperor! The Emperor is magic, like Harry Potter, but more magic! A most real and true SPACE WIZARD! And for the last time... I'm not a space plumber.
Yeah i decided that i might actually do a little leg work myself and i searched "Rooster Teeth". It's amazing what you can find out if you put in a little effort.
On a side note, i really gotta get me a bazooka bat.

Sorry to ruin the love-in but that was bloody awful. The only redeeming factor is that the fights are coherently directed, it's always clear what's going on. Of course the fight scenes themselves are utterly pointless and devoid of any drama, tension or actual conflict.
The animation, fight choreography apart, is abysmal and the art style is a total eyesore. It looks like the PS1 game 'Fear effect', which had the excuse of the primitive technology. It might be aiming for the demented beauty of Killer 7, Okami or El shaddai but it fails, miserably. I am not even an anime fan and i would describe this as Gaijin crap.
Finally we have the weakest aspect, the script and voice acting. It's atrocious, the amateurish screeching of Red vs Blue seems like fine art in comparison. On a minor note none of the identikit copy paste/adjust colour palette 'Heriones' fit their voices, just another hallmark or amateurish animation.
Must try Harder.

Wow someone has a stick rammed up where the sun doesn't shine. I didn't particularly like it either but no need to be so bloody rude about it. Besides it's still the trailers and hopefully they'll improve. And the "amateurish screeching of Red vs Blue"? That show is brilliant. And if it is amateurish, it's because it is literally the dubbing of video games that were mostly made at least 5 years ago!
I kind of agreed with you up until that point.
Nah I can see where Perkustin is coming from. If someone put this on TV it would be laughed off the channel. My expectations are set slightly lower because I expect this to be kind of amateurish (I'm a fan of low bar entertainment anyway evident by how much pulp fiction I read on a regular basis).
Rooster Teeth has kind of invited negative reactions cause while the fights are impressive so far the story is a giant mystery so I understand people who feel a lack of interest or find it to be bland because there's no context for what's going on.
And yeah. The voice acting really needs improvement and rewatching the video, I will agree that Red's voice actress doesn't sound right for the character. I was fine with Yellow but Blake and Ruby both have actresses who don't fit the characters (but that might change once we actually have some story instead of some disjointed cut scenes).

Oh Yelli is certainly Barbs. And the guy with the batzooka is Jack Pattillo. The Cast of RWBY is made out of the current RvB cast as far as I know of.
God I hope they let Matt use the Wyoming voice somewhere in the series. That one is marvelous.

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios

I wouldn't come to any conclusions about the seriousness/not seriousness of RWBY just yet.
And I don't care if it would be out of place, Wyoming voice is boss.
