ust got my Land Raider Redeemer in the mail! Happiness quickly turned to sadness when I found a couple of the supports broken. These are where the two halves of one side connect. Those of you familiar with the model, will these be visible or cause issues with assembly? There's one on each end of this piece, and the hole does go all the way through.

It's not from GW. I did contact the retailer and am waiting response. I'm sure they'll fix it no problem, but if it won't be visible it's not really a big deal and I'd rather get going on it if I could instead of waiting.

If you have the box, you'll have the product code needed for GW to replace it.

As for that hole, Milliput is your friend -- it dries rock hard and it's sandable, so once it's dry you can sand it flush like it never happened.

Unless you're playing Orks, then slap a patch of plasticard on it and call it good. Or paint it up like battle damage, if you're playing a heavily-worn army.

Yeah, I've got some Tamiya putty that'll work too. Will this interfere with the track? That's my only real concern.

No, the tracks on a... well... track around the inside of each side piece

Even if you didn't purchase it from GW directly, they will fix that issue. I bought a SM suppression force that was made in 2007 and discontinued off of ebay. Was still in the plastic wrap, I was working on it, and found that both rhinos were missing the same pieces on the B sprue. Called up GW, and they sent two full B sprues to me, no cost to me.

They will fix any issue you might have, great customer service.

That's a relief.

That's what others have said too. I think I'll contact them and see what they say.

It never hurts to ask.
And should GW decide to replace it ... well then you are the owner of a landraider and also some additional damaged bitz that can either be repaired or - if not - would make a really cool terrain piece or something similar.

Just got off the phone with their US customer service. Friendly guys they are! Quick, to the point, they're sending me a replacement sprue with no trouble! I'll undoubtedly do as you suggest Btldoomhammer, and use the spares for terrain. I'll probably end up making a blast crater.

I'm excited to start assembling this!

Even though GW have sent out the other bits to replace the damaged one, from what I can see that panel is for the inside of the Land Raider. There would be no issues with seeing the damage once fully built.

Even then you could say it was damage from a Melta gun lol
