Sup everyone. Painting an SoB army and would like some Imperial slogans/battle cries and such to put on them.
Already know the classic "Ave Imperator" (and am about to attempt to paint it freehand onto my Sister Superior's chainsword), but are there any others in a similar vein to this?
They don't necessarily have to be in latin, btw. Also, more religiousy ones would probably work better, for obvious reasons.

According the Helsreach, it means "The Emperor wills it" in 'High Gothic'... not sure how accurate it is, but it works.
Also "Faith and Fire", "We are his Torch", "Flame is Pure", "Faith is Truth"
Any of those work?

Dura Lex = hard law (I have this written on an Arbites tank)
And some shorter things that would fit on scrolls and weapons etc (probably pig latin of course):
Puritas = Purity
Purgatus = purged
Fides, or Fideles = faithful, loyal
Ignatius or Ignatia (male and female names meaning "fiery")

There's always the first line of the Fede Imperialis, the battle-hymn of the Ecclesiarchy:

Other suggestiong:
Fiat voluntas tua, or "let thy will be done".
Ignis et ora, or "fire and prayer".
"Dixitque Imperator, fiat lux!" ("The Emperor said, let there be light!"), or any other variation on famous Christian/Catholic phrases.
And, stealing from World of Warcraft, "BY FIRE BE PURGED!".

Yeah... It's not all that easy. Looks like "Ave Emperor" isn't going to work on the chainsword. :(
Puritas or Purge might work, though. And all of these will be able to have a place on my Immos/Rhinos/Exorcists.
These are all awesome, by the way. Keep 'em coming! The hammier the better.
