I think you need new glasses or contacts, they have 3.5 up there.

Aaand, I'm a backer.

Actually, 3.5 is my preferred edition of the game (although I also enjoy 2nd Edition). Never did get a chance to play 4th, so I can't really say much about it. Don't know anything about 5th.

I looked up "Wizard Pug" and whilst I came up with many images of pugs dressed as wizards, you're getting this:

Posted a question:
"Is there anyway to see a higher resolution copy of the image so we can get a feel for what it will look at when blown up to such a large size?"

Not if they roll well enough for their resilience.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Probably work

I have a print of Coolidge's "A Friend in Need" prominently displayed in the game room. This would make for a fine addition.

I already have one, it does not look exactly like that, but it is a Dogs playing D&D painting. I think it was a commission and not a mass production.

I got a message back from him.

"No, there really isn't.

If it helps, the native resolution of the image is 19" x 27" x 600 dpi."

I don't do much in the way of image creation/manipulation, but isn't 600 dpi a little low?

Like, personal laser printer low?

600 is fine, we've done banners/coverart at the DPI, as long as its not an upscale.

No. Remember that this is a poster over two feet across. It doesn't need to stand up to someone combing it over with a magnifying glass, it just needs to look good while you're standing and looking at it, and 24 dots per mm is more than sufficient for that.

For a poster even 72-100 dpi, like on your computer monitor, can produce an adequate effect.

600 should look great. You can print photos at around 300 dpi that look good, although I would try to avoid going lower than that for actual printed stuff. Even if it wasn't a large poster 600 dpi is pretty high quality.

For $400 they could be. The highest backer level lets you create a custom poster with your choice of game and you get 10 copies of the final product. If you had 9 friends who liked the same game as you that "only" breaks down to $40 per person (which is still high for a poster but it would be one hell of a game room decoration).

If anyone wants to get a 10-person group together for Dogs Playing Battletech PM me!
