*Billy looks stricken about what to do. Finally he makes a decision and walks to the door*
Billy: You are a real person. Don't ever think for a second that you aren't.
Take all the time you need. I'll be right here. *Walks outside and closes the door before sinking slowly to the ground as it all washes over him*

*Walks outside into the forest*

*Walks up to the giant familiar tree*

*Climbs it slowly and sits at the top*

*Curls up and cries*

*Billy watches her go then slowly goes to his room looking frustrated at his failure to help Jordan*

*Cal collapses on a bed in the hospital and instantly falls asleep. He hasn't told anyone else so it's just himself, Billy and Jordan who know
Scatty curls up next to her sister on the couch and both doze off
Morrigan goes to her own room as Ot sleeping the hospital and Perenelle goes to their room for rest*

H-How...?

*After a few hours of tossing and turning Billy sits up as a idea hits him. He walks out to where he knows Jordan will be and yells up at the tree*
Billy: Here's how you know that you're not just some robot!
How do you feel about me?! What springs into mind when I ask that question! *Sits down tiredly at the bottom of the tree*

*Blocks out all noise and continues crying softly*

*Draws a small knife and holds out hand*

*Wraps hand around the knife and applies pressure*

*Watches blood slowly dribble down from closed hand*

*Billy sits dejectedly at he bottom of the tree*
Billy: I thought that would work... I thought for sure... *Slams his fist against the tree at his own stupidity*

*Applies more pressure*

*Small pool of blood is slowly forming in the little nest*

*Still softly crying*

*A drop of blood slips through the nest and lands on Billy's shoulder. Billy looks over and his eyes widen in panic*
Billy: Jordan!?
*He starts trying to climb the tree but isn't doing so well*

*Stops and withdraws blade*

*Clenches and un-clenches fist*

*Takes a long look at hand*

*Slowly moves blade down*

*Continues crying*

*Billy is climbing the tree as quickly as he can as more blood drips down*

*Wavers slightly and drops knife*

*Curls up*

*Billy is still climbing in a frenzy*
Billy: Jordan! Are you all right?! *Panic evident in voice*

*Stays silent*

*Occasionally rocks backwards and forwards*

*Billy hauls himself into the nest and looks relieved to see Jordan mostly uninjured*
Billy: Here, let me take a look at that. *Tries reaching for Jordan's bleeding hand*

*Pulls back and edges towards the edge*

Don't touch me...

*Rolls over and faces away from Billy*

*Continues clenching hand to prevent it from clotting*

Billy: No, I don't care what you say, I'm not letting you bleed to death up here.
*Rips off a clump of bandages across his chest and moves towards Jordan again*

*Holds hand over the edge and watches it bleed*

*Eyes flutter slightly*

*Tries staying awake*

*Billy takes advantage of her distraction to quickly wrap the hand as best he can then quickly scoots back to give Jordan her space*

*Doesn't seem to notice*

*Closes eyes*

*Still crying*

*Billy sits hunched in a corner of the nest watching Jordan and crying too.*


*Back in the room Quetz gingerly lifts himself back into the air then goes about making himself something quietly*

*Hears Billy cry*

*Goes silent*

*Billy sees the dagger on the ground, picks it up and examines it while silently crying*

BiC: *Billy wipes his eyes and looks at Jordan*

*Carefully eases himself over the edge of the nest and starts climbing down*

*I limp into the Room with a shattered leg*

I hope you don't mind, but we incinerated that fether's corpse and dumped the ashes into a volcano. Fether killed ten of my best tank crews

*Cal tiredly gets up to do his rounds and notices WK*
Cal: C'mere, you need that looked at.

*Silently cries self to sleeps*
