Sorry if this is a re-post but I can't find it elsewhere.
I'm modeling mycetic spores out of half's of plasma hatchers and I need something to fill most of the space as kneadatite is expensive.
http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_FvWhVChCAIQ/TKMkbO-FXkI/AAAAAAAAAVE/xL1hYigGbrU/s1600/P1080675.JPG
I'm having the bottom half with a carnifex and ripper tentacles coming out and the top half laying down with goo and ripper tentacles lashing about but they are hollow so what would be good to fill the space ready for green stuff?
I'm totally new to modeling so could really do with the help.
Cheers
Helston

Moving this thread to "Painting & Modeling". The "Tutorials" forum is for showing people how to do something, rather than for asking questions.

Use alu-foil to fill most of the space and cover it up with a cheap putty, for example milliput.
This is how i do it.

Good suggestion there.
Milliput is a lot cheaper than Green Stuff.

Other cheap fillers are chunks of sprue and the bits of foam you get out of pick and pluck trays.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!
