Well, you have probably heard about the giant Khorne tank thing, and the Necron Monolith/Doom Monolith, so what do you think? Go wild about what you want for the new Apocalypse.

A Tyranid Dominatrix.

Think a Tervigon. But as big as a Heirophant, and tougher. Slightly less firepower (only one gun), but massively powerful psychic abilities.

And it can poop out stuff, just like the Tervigon. But instead of being limited to Termagants, it can poop out anything (since the 4th edition codex turned them into breederbeasts up there with Norn Queens as well). Though I'd probably say only stuff smaller than a Heirodule.

Give me that GW. Please.

Bigger. Lots bigger. That's the size of Forgeworlds redone Heirodule (since it's based on that model), and Dominatrixes were much bigger. I think they're one of those things that really shouldn't be downsized too much.

Because it had one in Epic. It was a Hive Tyrant fused to a much larger body. Something that'll probably be dropped if they redid it, because it goes against what makes the modern Tyranid aesthetic work.

Ah, that explains it. Yes, hopefully, the new version would be better.

Of course, we are talking about a company who thought that the Khorne Blower / Skulldozer / Lord of Battle 2013 had a good design...

It looks like what happens when a triceratops, a biovore and that alien from independence day had a threesome.

I think it looks pretty rad

Who keeps making these things? They don't look like FW.

I have no idea, but I think if they aren't already hired, they have a great future in model making.

And if the FW Dactilys looks anything like that, there's no way it can't have a two plus armor save and uber high toughness. It just looks so well protected and hunkered down.

Only from the front though. The rear looks really vulnerable. I'm sure all it would take is 1 plasma round to make that sac go boom.
Not sure how you would word it (as MCs don't have facings, so there is technically no "behind," iirc), but that would open up some tactical elements.

It really does make me want to use chitin shields for armored shell beasties though.

I'm pretty sure every Necron player wants this.

Although every time I fielded one I'd probably be playing this.

Warhounds, Revenants, Cobras, Scorpions, Tigersharks, Fire Lords, Doomwings, Subjugators, Hell Talons, Hell Blades, Thunderbolts, Marauders, new and redesigned Heirodules, and I suppose even the flying brick that is the Thunderhawk.

If I were to REALLY pile on the wishlisting, then I'd toss in the Phantoms and Reavers, but I don't see that as likely, even in fantasyland.

Oh, and I forgot...The Storm Eagle. The only actually good looking SM flyer that GW/FW has done.

Better rules.

SIMPLIFIED DAMAGE FOR NORMAL VEHICLES, since once you have 100 or more on the table who the #$%^ cares if Rhino #20 lost a storm bolter.

TOUGHER SUPERHEAVIES, because a titan should not go down to a termi squad.

For the record here's my complete proposal:
http://www.dakkadakka.com/wiki/en/Revised%20damage%20rules%20for%20Superheavies%20and%20Apocalypse

LESS RANDOM 'STATEGIES', no more 'and then half the enemy army walks into your deployment zone' crap, I want to actually play a game!

FASTER COMBAT RESOLUTION again once you have 100+ models in a scrum you need something faster than the usual.

Never played Apoc, but maybe the return of the "Redemption force" for the Deathwing, maybe a "Hunter " formation with the Ravenwing that specializes in taking down Monstrous creatures (like the old knights on Caliban did)

Maybe a Knight Titan household for the IoM, or at least a model for them.

I'd personally love to see the old Tyranid Monstrosities make a comeback, such as the Haruspex, Malefactor, Exocrine, etc, though mainly the Malefactor - I'd love to play around with the idea of a tyranid transport. (Old, old rules let it transport up to 14 wounds of tyranid.)

However, I think the Hierodules desperately need a rules update. Wraithknight has almost identical stats for some 400 points cheaper :(
