Tomb King I painted up a year and a half ago to try out my blending and NMM.

Love the purples on this guy, really make him look like royalty. Everything else looks great too.

As for constructive criticism i'm afraid that's not possible as it is obvious you got exactly what you wanted to achieve. if anyone were to give you that it could only be about changing the entire scheme of this awesome model. 9.5/10

Erm which cloth lol? For the purple it was Liche blended with white, for the black cloak it was Chaos white again. For the brown leathery bits its Scorched Earth, Bestial, Snakebite, and then just a little bit of Bubonic. Hope that helps

The only criticism I can think of is that the base is kind of plain.

Yeah hahah, I'm really not that good with basing and I needed to get it (the base) done for a painting competition. I'm really jealous of guys who can create wicked bases.

This model is very pleasing to the eye. I must say all the colors just work well together. It almost makes me want to pick some up and try a similar scheme on one of these guys.

Looks good. From a fluff perspective, do you think he would have dull gold? They got eternity and near-infinite dead troops to sit around polishing his jewelry. That stuff should gleam. They're also very very proud.

I tried to make the ornamentation look fairly bright and I think I did a good job in that aspect. If you're talking about the sword keep in mind that they wouldn't have had golden weapons. Bronze would have been their go to metal and so wouldn't be as shiny as his raiment.

On a technical level the gold/brass could have been brighter if I had blended it, but I wasn't too confident in my NMN blending.

As I mentioned earlier the base had to be done really fast and I'm not that good with basing. Also keep in mind the camera angle was literally right in front of the model while 90% of the time it'll be seen from a top-down perspective, making some of the details look better and covering up a large amount of the base
