Quick question, anyone know if the FW Angron character (as featured in the Horus Heresy hardback thingy that FW released) is present within Army Builder to be added to a roster in the same way as a character or something? I have tried switching on some of the options like Non-Codex Material and IA Books but I can;t seem to find him.

Failing that, is there a way to manually input his statline and what-not, either by editing the data file or within the army builder program?

Are the other things from the HH:Betrayal book in Army Builder?

Volkite weaponry, Justarian Terminators, Mechanicum dudes, etc?

I have no idea how to edit the AB code.

Not that I can see. I had a quick squiz at adding him in myself using the ABCreator thing that comes with the program. I can add the entry in but there is a ton of things you need to do to get his armour, weapons, special rules, all that sort of jazz to work properly which is a bit beyond my comprehension at the moment.

They data file authors haven't said wether they intend to take on the Horus Heresy as a project, but you might be able to get some pointers by going to the data file website, www.ab40k.org.

The other thing to do is look at how other units were built together to get an idea at how the programming code was set up.I know it always takes me hours to do any data file additions.

Yeah, I had a look over on ab40k.org - it seems it is something they are working on or at least, planning so I will have to be patient and wait.

I did have a go at editing the CSM data file and adding Angron in, using Abaddon as a template. Getting the stat line is fine; it is linking all the other tags and what-not so that his special rules work properly that is the hard part.

I think your first problem is that Angron isn't an option for C:CSM.

And, if you think about it, he wouldn't be. The kind of army represented by C:CSM didn't really exist before Angron underwent his transformation (Word Bearers and Emperors Children were on the way down that road).

Your second problem is that Angron occupies a Lords of War force org slot and you don't get those outside of Horus Heresy campaigns.
