lost prophets...excellent name lol I'm really impressed with the amount of converting you're doing, I especially like the mechanical look on your tzeentch units, it gives them a very non magical steam punk feel that really makes them feel like they deserve that invuln save lol. Excellent job

Hey there!

Time for a small update on the TS Prince.

Since I had not enough stripe to build the crown, so I had to wait until my local shop re-open on wednesday.
I also cut a basic khopesh frame that I'll use as a base for my DP's weapon adding flames and runes.
Here's a picture of both (sorry for the blurry pic):

I'll try to finish the helmet soon before to spend more time working on the weapon.

Yeah, this is going to be quite the epic achievement once you get it done. You and I seem to have a lot in common- too many cool projects, too much "real life" stuff, and too many distractions for our hobby time to focus on one thing at a time.

As far as the rest of my collection... I'm doing some serious thinking about trading the things I know I'll never use for stuff I want. And 5 years from now I'll be sick to think about that time I traded those Space Wolves because now I'm 100% all about playing them... sometimes I think this "hobby" is actually an extension of mental illness.

I traded off my first Catachan Army. But I have amassed a bigger Catachan Army since that regret.

The total number of models I've ever sold would probably be around...five (and they were spares). Instead I'm trying to give my nephews some of my models so that they get decent armies whithout ruining themselves or their parents

Now a good new: remember the Sorceror Dread? Well he's done! (not painted, but I've finished the last modelling details adding seals of corruption). Pics will follow soon. I've also started to sculpt flames on the sword and ne helmet is nearly finished.

I'll soon start to work on a base for the Sorceror Dread. I'm planing to make a half burried plasticard Chaos star for it.
I have received enough bitz to build a second TS Termie squad with the same equipment as the first one (powerfists and combi-flamer + heavy flamer) However, I'll try to give them a more dynamic position by switching the combi-flamers arms with the twin-linked bolters arms. I hope to start them before Christmas.

Great read this one. Looking forward to seeing more on the Silver Tower and the Tzeeentch Sorceror Dread is brilliant. I'm also really impressed by the Aberration Daemon Princes. Always good to see Rackham stff getting used.

Thanks Llamahead. My wife has Banned the Siver tower from the appartment because -I quote her- "this stuff is a mess generator"... There's still much work to do on it, but one day I'll finish it...

GS probably isn't hard to use, I just fear it irrationally. TM has a crevasse painting phobia, like my GS phobia. Positive encouragement will always be in great supply here at Dakka!

I'm the opposite! I love using GS! I fear styrene! Although I haven't cut any since Dave told me "Score and snap! Score and snap!" So,maybe it go smoother now!
