Well I licked the Forgeworld goodness, is that bad?

Well Momma-Tervigon is finished, and I have one of two Barbed Heirodules half-finished... although pics will appear of that tomorrow as I need to green stuff the gaps as well as make the eyes disappear as well.

shame I've got another to order and convert another two lols... I really dislike seeing the same model in the same pose again and again

well i guess the model has still lots of options to make the pose different...if all else fails you could raise the yucky bar and make some sloshy goey drops? there are so many things you could do differently next time...

Wow, that is actually a very good idea for a tervigon. The extra joint in the legs really does look nice, prefer that look than the standard tyranid legs. Much promise is visible.

the lack of the extra joint was something that bugged me no end tbh. Its like GW simply forgot about it or something...

So, because the Scytals for the forelimbs of the Heirodule don't match the appearance of the general Tyranid ones, I'm having to match them.

Hence me making a press mould... which sucks, as I really don't have enough Green Stuff in stock to be messing about with this kind of stuff. But C'est la vie...

I'm also currently working on the Heirodules eye's, or should I say making them vanish... so watch this space for an update on that one.

hmmmm...that is good looking stuff...the eyes...or better the vanished eyes... seeing it on the first pic... i was a bit worried... but then looking at the finished head! very good work mate! did you have to cut away some of the forehead for this job? looks like that...

also... when i want to use pressmoulds i use a diffrent material then GS... i have lots of FIMO and even clay to do that...i really have to investigate if that might work...actually i never did any pressmoulds...

Nope there was absolutely no cutting away on the Heirodules head. Just pure greenstuff.

I also didn't have any other product I could have used for the press mould... I'm also a little dubious about how it'll work tbh as well.

well i guess the proof is in the eating of the pudding then... i will have to try that eventually too...it has to be done...someday^^
