I am just saying, although it was a large blast, I am thinking that Hectoris PROBABLY survived that.

Hola, I'm interested in joining this rp and I'm curious of weapon load outs. I'm currently reading the other thread from page one and I'm not to sure till I just skip to the last few pages but as of what iv seen I don't see any laid out guidelines regarding war gear. Personally I simply want a power axe.

The wargear is described in the list of availible characters on OP of the other thread. The isn't one for Power Axe but just alter that in your fluff by saying you are a melee specialist in the squad and were gifted an Axe.

Question, how much is required reading as not to be lost in the current events? And does one simply appear as if they were always there such as a random marine suddenly gaining a face and opinion? Dont want to step on any toes

It's easy to incorparate a new face, just establish a good reason as to why you're late to the party. Just say you are the reinforcement for the 7 marines Blap suddenly killed off.

As to the story so far there is going to be a summary done by Lord Magnus.

At the moment we are on a planet rescueing the civilian population of a fortress and securing an ancient communications array. The company was scattered across the battlefield but were reunited under Captain Dreph's efforts. During a battle Sgt Apollus was brought to the brink of death, but was revived. Unfortunately an evil entity came back with him from the dead. Captain Dreph was unsure of Segari's stability believing him to be tainted. Leaving Apoluss under guard, he was forced away to help Sgt. Aloysus.

After securing a landing zone/defensive position around a crippled rhino they fended off the orks. Hearing a distress call from Apollus they returned to investigate only to find him missing.

Unknown to his fellow brothers Apollus was part of an eldar plot that spanded centuries and was captured by them so that he may become somewhat of a sleeper agent in the Emporer's Children.

Dreph called for an extraction of the wounded at the rhino postion, however the eldar intervened, shooting down the incoming stormraven. Once again 9th company was besieged.

Far away from the battle Apollus was released by the eldar, who then executed his squad, except for Rophosus who was absent during his abduction. Apollus returned to the sound of battle, the Eldar forces giving him room to allow him to return to his brothers. Unfortunately during the battle Captain Dreph was gravely wounded and extracted to the Emperor's Fury.

The terminator Sergeant Hectoris took charge of the company. A special misson was recieved from Lord Fulgrim to meet an eldar traitor in order to find their base of operations. A 5 man squad including Hectoris, Aloysus, Apollus, Antioch and Rophosus was sent to meet the informant.

The killteam met with the informant, on uneasy grounds, they made there way to the Eldar base. A Tokrok attacked the squad, during which the daemon was released from within Apollus. The newborn daemon killed the eldar woman, Hectoris drove off the seductive snake.His squad even more aware of Apollus' treachery had no choice but to continue the mission with him. Elsewhere the daemon manifested into Captain Dreph's mind, trying to entice him to join it's cause. Dreph refused the daemon's terms, slaying the foul creature... for now..... Having secured their landing zone, the newly enforced company moved into the fortress.

Hectoris' kill team continued onto the target, driving deep into the eldar base killing many of them. The melta charges however were not responding to the data pad, meaning the explosive had to be detonated remotely. Hectoris bravely volunteered. allowing his team to escape before releasing the emporer's torch to the xeno.

Captain Dreph, now surrounded by a heretical populace fights for his life. The company is at it's most vunerable, whispers in the night penetrate the company's soul. It is surrounded by enemies on all sides and even from within. Will the company survive the night?

We should just hold a vote where Rephosus gets to chose who takes charge because we all voted for ourselves, to see where his loyalties lie.

Wait, the seniority would fall to one of the tactical squad leaders, depending on what there squad number is. It would be either me or Magnus depending on who's squad is highest in the command chain.

Well that isn't made clear in the OP... (now that I think of it EC are EXTREMELY strict about leadership, so that is probably best)
