that scorcher you mentioned... I sent that one last year I think to dave... was a very nice model...your conversion looks very good too...specially since it is been driven by a grot... got me a soft place inside me somewhere for everything grotrelated^^

funny that you say this... the bikers of the trikes and halftracks are more like even uglier catachans where scale is concerned... ever noticed? you could swap arms and legs and no one really could tell...

I've actually used some of those old plastic GorkaMorka era arms (as well as Plastic Munda arms) on my Catachans! The fists are too big, but the arms work well

Indeed, this is a Gorka morka body, got a bunch used, badly put together. I cut the head off, and stick on a Grot head and it does ok for a driver. Usually a bit lanky for a standard grot, but as these are sat for driving, it works out ok. Why the heck they did Gorkamorka as a different scale I have no idea.

@ Vik Other vehicle? Do you mean this one, this is the half track. I am going to have to back over my own blog now to look and see.

And Yup only used a bit of this kit so far got about 60% left ripe for the next silly object, feeling in a groove right now, so look out folks.

Well, upon proper thought the supacat coyote in 1:48 scale might be a little small if made up as full transport model for IG, that grot driver is probably close to the same size as a standard IG, as Dave and Vik where saying earlier. So it would be pretty cramped in there. Having said that If you could cover it somehow, and taking in to account 10 SM in a rhino!!!! It's probably a pretty good transport for a platoon. And it's cheap compared to GW transport, and would look more like urban transport.

Well guess I will give you some updated pics of my scorcher conversion on this chassis.

Likely a tad snug for a rifle team of IG soldiers, but hey, men can squeeze in where powered armor can't.

I believe you capture the flavor of Orks really well in your conversions. Nicely done.

Really like that Cam, very creative.

The thing I love most about it is the HUGE barrel of promethium, but the TINY little nozzle. He's go enough juice for 10,000 shots, but won't last to see 3-4 used before turning into a giant mushroom cloud.
