No firm plans on what is next POW. Probably the Plague bearers and some more Stormcast Eternals but I am also feeling the desire to do some more And Mech. I just cannot muster the desire to do Marines of any sort at the moment.

That Maggoth lord looks crazy good!

I also really liked your black dragon. Can't wait to see what comes up next!

Forgive me now! Tomorrow I may no longer feel guilty...

Got the remaining 5 Plaguebearers, including the standard and musician done. Not the best pictures but here is my little Nurgle force:

My favourite Plaguebearer, SnoutyMcSnout, do not approach him in flu season:

And the approaching death:

that makes 17 of 57 miniatures done in my little challenge.

Bloody hell! I can't believe how fast you are, especially on such big impressive models as that Nurgle Daemonbeastie and then all those Plaguebearers.

I do not know why but I have always found the bigger the model the quicker I tend to paint it, which seems to be the opposite way round for most other people.

Continuing the Nurgle theme I have started work on Gutrot Spume tonight, a cracking little character model.

A bit more progress, have finished off my small Nurgle force no with Gutrot Spume getting done bar a few touch ups here and there. Apologies for the poor lighting but summer seems to have died a death here in Britain:

I also got back into my Ad Mech, my first since page 14 of this blog, with a further 5 Adeptus Mechanicus Skitarii Vanguard, these complete a unit of 10:

And up next:

Thanks for looking.

Thank you kind Sirs, the photos really do not do them justice. A bit concerned that since I set myself my challenge of painting the 226 models I have already done a tenth of them (226 divided by 10 is 22.6, and I have done 23 of them.)

Since August 21st I have done:

Dark Elf Dragon
Gutrot Spume
Orghotts Daemonspew
10 Plague bearers
5 Stormcast Eternals
5 Skitarii Vanguard.

I also feel that I have learned a fair bit in that short time thanks to watching the GW "how to paint" videos on the Maggoth Lords. I certainly feel that Orghott's is the best mini that I have ever painted which is nice that I felt like I was in a lull.

And what else have I learned? I can paint Ad Mech infantry, fast, without ccompromising the final results so I may get them
out of the way ASAP.

So onwards and, hopefully, upwards!

Looking good. Gutrot seems a pretty sweet model and looks great here. I think it's time for the army shot! Your AdMech are always great to look at, and you've got some nice poses going on those Castellans.

So here is the work I have done thus far on my AOS Khorne and Nurgle combined force:

Have also made a bit more progress on some more Ad Mech:

I am not totally sold on the red visors for the 'bots but will give it a new layer of Blood For The Blood God and see ho it goes.

Thanks for looking.

Purple, gold and red, that's a good scheme. Going back to the previous page that dragon is amazing, well done!

I think you are right Swara, here are the green visors on my other Kastelan Robots, I think I will stick with this:

@Knightley, it actually a copper rather than gold but I still have quite a bit of work to do on it.

As ever a little more progress, I had no real intention to paint Captain Karlaen but it just kind of happened, a tiny head and iron halo swap on this one. He has actually inspired me to finish the 3 Terminators I have left to do as part of an assault squad, so that is a good thing:

I have also completed the 2 Kastelan Robots:

On various states of completion currently on the painting table I have:

1 Ad Mech Datasmith
5 Skitarii Vanguard
1 Chaos Exalted Deathbringer
3 Blood Angel Assault Terminators

So as for my "get a quarter of my stuff painted before I can buy any more challenge" I am 26/57 miniatures done.

Thank you for looking.

I am aware that my BA scheme is probably a bit too bright for most modern tastes but I kindof like the old fashioned red-era brightness. Will hopefully get a fair bit more done tonight too.

Doesn't really look too bright to me, just pronounced edge highlights, the rest of the red is pretty dark really. Good stuff either way

Thank you everyone, a little more Blood Angel progress today. They are far from my best work but they are a passable tabletop standard, and the more of them I paint the better they will look. Dare I say it I have the beginnings of a small, elite force here:

The 3 Assault Terminators I had left to do:

Funky Pose McClaw:

Bloodfist Hammerhand:

And Bob:

Putting them together with 2 miniatures I painted aged ago you get:

That gives me a total BA Force of:

As ever thanks for looking.
