Been about 2 weeks since I was on (yogbox kept me busy). So it must have been in that time. Someone planted TNT between the obsidian and wood lining in my house, luckily the damage wasn't too bad, my house is the wood clad obsidian one in Buckland.

I did a quick patchup job with it, but will need about 3 of lava.

I assure you I was not online at 12:30am on sunday unless your talking UK time, then maybe XD

Ive sent dark a few options in catching and resolving the issue, I should say though it isnt uncommon that I log out and log back in dead with no stuff in a creeper hole, I try to make sure I log out on top of a 3 block tall "tower" when I can to prevent this

Looking at the logs it's a fair chance it was our good old friend Chowder who may have had a run in with a creeper in the manor entrance. As he's on US time wait till he comes online to see if he knows anything about it.

Manor second floor ceiling/third floor floor is done unless corpses wants it to cover the performance area too; didn't want to assume it wanted doing in case it needed to be pulled up in a week.

Main focus now is wool for carpeting I think.

I will finish my summer job in less than two weeks. It means that I will finally have time to resume my dakka MC adventures!

I have a few projects in mind. One of them being the construction of the hotel I showed a few days ago.

I would also like to build a winter mansion in the snow biome near my villa. I've noticed that the Bastion of Stone is on the edge of that biome.

@Raptors: You seem to have moved out of the bastion for a new project and the castle lies abandoned. I would like to purchase it and use it as the base for my future winter retreat. What do you say?

How long do these server crashes usually last?

This is around the time the server does it's 2 hourly restart, which I assume is what you mean; in this case, you should be able to log back in after a minute or two.

The scheduled restarts (when the magenta text in the chat box tells you it's restarting in 10 seconds) are there to try and maintain functionality and stop any memory leaks etc. from getting out of hand and crashing the server and possibly corrupting save data; they aren't crashes themselves.

If you do mean a crash (server kicks you out without any warning and shoves an 'end of stream' or 'connection refused: connect' error at you when you try to re-log) then anything from a few minutes or until the next scheduled restart.

Well, it said it was a scheduled restart, but I haven't been able to log back in.

Oh wow. I feel stupid now. It wasn't letting me log in because I added in a w at the end of the server URL.

Is it just red and blue wool you need? I'll grab some for you inbetween other stuff.

Well. I haven't posted on this thread in a while. I'm building a huge 45x45 castle in dakkatown, so if anyone wants to help, just say so I need to flatten the land and map out the boundaries of the castle. Also, I probably need loads of cobble, so if anyone wants to mine from grundz' cobbleomatic with me, it'd be appreciated

I have more Cobblestone then I could ever possibly need. You can have some of it.

could always just leave a weight on your mouse button and walk away, a diamond pick is like 20 stacks of cobble
BTW I upgraded the cobbler so it should be even more hopelessly faster than you can mine now.

It really depends on what mods your lookin for. As probly 25% of the yogbox mods i didnt want so ended up downloadin em all seperately.

Red and blue are the most needed, yeah. We need about 1/4-1/3 of a stack of brown too if anyone has any spare.

im just looking for mods that make the game look better and add more things to do. i like the sound of the one mod where you could conquer people.

i would really like to just buy the game and join the dakka server but Space Marine is not far away and thats going to consume much of my time

castle is coming along well, although it's a huge creeper magnet, especially with the paper-thin floors I improvised. Ah well. Come see it if you like. it's probably visible from the sanc. I'm not even going to pretend I'm not excited about this thing It's probably the biggest thing I've ever built.

Also, sorry dark, I gotta fill in the ceiling. It looked cool, but it was actually just causing me problems. I'll probably still fill it in with glass, but after I finish the frame of the thing.
