In this list, while you have very strong anti tank. I think you are very lacking in taking care of hordes so I would suggest taking maybe some whirlwinds, or even a dreadnought or two which could lock up horde units, such as orks. While they could do nothing in return.

You don't have a HQ choice, Techmarines require you to take another HQ choice to unlock them.
I'd Drop one of the Preds and the unmounted Tac Squad for 2 Libbies and an aegis.

oh I misread that. Then yeah 2 librarians at 65 points a pop drop the last tactical squad and add a aegis line no quad though. I thought 6 plasma cannons would be pretty deadly even to an ork standpoint? I do like the idea of a whirlwind

Also as a fair note the only orks I've ever seen at our tournaments was waz'dakka and 5? of the front armor 14 vehicles

I would take an Aegis line (50 pts for a 4+ save for most of your vehicles !!!) and would also consider taking 2-3 darkshrourds to further improve the save to 3+ and greatly augmenting the survivability of your army

I really dislike the dark shrouds. I mean yes they are cool, but not really my cup of tea. Here's a revised army list now, added a bit more anti infantry while still having plenty of Las and plasma for the heavy armor and toughness models

Would vindicators be more useful than whirlys? Id drop a pred for one vind. Also for anti inf. Have you considered swapping out some of the plasma cannons for heavy bolters?

Drop x2 of the Preds and the Whirlwinds and take x3 Vindicators as they are great at both anti armor and anti hordes. Remember if any part of the template touches the hull it counts as a hit with full strength, have watched these things wreck land raiders, leman russes, ect.

I was considering vindicators, but the main stuff I'm getting tired of shooting at is guardsmen and tau and such hiding behind aegis lines. a str 5 AP 4 shot indirect fired means that the cover save is from center of template IE goodbye aegisline cover saves. The vindicator = a bunch of people making 2+ cover saves behind walls. I don't particularly fear armor with this list. I'm pretty sure I have enough Las to deal a fateful blow to even land raiders.

As much as i LOVE predators having 4 of them with las cannons all around are a waste of points with 7 lascannon razorbacks. If it were me i would drop 1 predator and change the rest to autocannon/heavy bolters and add 2 vindicators. That will net one additional tank and give you a decent volume of shots with the other predators. If you went even further and dropped a second predator you could add 2 whirlwinds, except you would have to cut 10 points elsewhere.

That would leave you with 2 pred, 2 whirlwind, and 2 vindicators. A decent variety all while you still have the mass of lascannons from your razorbacks

Drop one prep change them all to hbs auto cannon or even las/HB and add 2 techs w/ bike servo to ride around and repair... Most I'd go is one Vindi since you hav 7 tl las cannons and tbh wws are cheaper and do the AI Job that this list lacks
Also make all the las cannons twin linked las do you have some aa(rolling a 6 is easier with a reroll)

I hate to say it but the list is illegal in two ways. You can have a max of 6 troop choices, you have 7. You can have a max of 3 heavy support, you have 6.

I like the idea of 2 of each of those heavy supports. Gives me options for any situation. I can use my librarians to twin link the whole predator using divination presience. Think it definitely gives me an edge. Also the 3+ cover save if the shroud is nearby tasty goodness

The double FOC gives you two extra troop slots and one additional slot for Heavy support, Fast Attack and Elites. So your still only getting four HS not six. Also your Allied detachment must be from a different Codex than your primary, so maybe run them as Blood Angels? Fast Preds/Vindicators?

I think you are mixing allied detachments and double FOC. They are not the same thing.

Yes this is for a double Force organization chart. Again Flyers I don't think are that much of a threat. With that much Las / TL plasma I can bring down any flyer in the game just with my plasma guns I think. I'm torn on the darkshroud. it will always have a 2+ cover save behind the aegis line, but on the same note feels bad wasting 80 points on a heavy bolter venomthrope
