Starting off with a WIP shot of a Hellcat with Boarding Shotgun.

Thoughts? Do I need better photos/lighting to get better feedback?

I generally do not share my painted models/work in progress shots because I get frustrated with my work and end up stripping/starting over again. By making a public blog, I am hoping to curb that bad habit.

Right now the Hellcat(and a few other Corregidor models for that matter) are mounted on corks via paperclips as I have some nice bases coming from The Warstore when my Hellcat Hacker/HMG blister ships.

Added some more color to the cloth, giving it a khaki drab look rather than the flat olive drab.

Not sure just yet how I want to do the armor though. I might do a glossy beetle black finish for the armor plates but I do not know if I could really do it justice or how it would look with my swamp bases that I am getting from Secret Weapon.

Shiny black beetle armor would be cool with swamp bases I think. I got secrete weapon wetlands bases recently and I'm pretty happy with how they look with my black armor seed soldiers.

Good start, Kan! It's hard to say more at this stage though.

Now that I am not kicking your butt on Live all the time you should have plenty of time for painting
