What is your most disliked race?

Is it there fluff, textures, color schemes, popularity, there tabletop behaviour, the lack of miniatures to choose from or field.
Or other.
Just interested, should be a good discussion

Nearly a troll - I did actually stick an answer down

The Hrud annoy me - how do they age people?
They migrate randomly for what purpose?

I don't like the demiurg either.

On the TT, I actually like all the aesthetics of all the armies. I'm not keen on tau fluff. I just find it a bit boring. Bar when they're being abused by other factions.

In all honesty I would say necron or tyranids.
Their fluff is ott "if they were all here we would be DOOMED"
In that case why do I play the game. The galaxy is doomed no matter which way I turn. Of course being CSM does not promise a bright future either, but it's better than co aimed or extinguished.

*bursts though room with axe* HEEEAAARRRS JHONNY!!!

Tyranids, the one army I have never beaten and I don't like the aspect in the fluff which is "all races are doomed against the bugs" it just annoys me, plus the playstyle of Flyrant's and Tervigon's annoy me when Iron arm is out on them, but this is just imo..

As a Daemon player, I absolutely loath Durp Knights right now...

While our new codex has at least knocked the turn 1 auto-win shenanigans on the head by letting us deploy normally now, playing against an army that has been designed as a purely 100% hard counter vs your entire book is never going to be fun.

I don't like Cadian or Catachan guardsmen. Their model's proportions aren't realistic at all. A Cadian looks like a space marine next to one of my DKoK.

I hate Tau. I am not a fan of anime.

I also hate Necrons. They are the army of "oh wait, I have a rule for that!" And, once they lost phase out, they lost the fear of facing an aggressive opponent.

I'm going to take a radical position and say I love all the races of 40k and think they all contribute to the fantastic universe that we all enjoy.

I have a peanut allergy. It's really inconsiderate.

Imperial Guard is so boring. Oh look, uniformed guys with some tanks. It's the military, how exciting. I see military stuff all the time in real life.

Except the Vostroyan. the Vostroyan are badass. They need to re-released that army. Give those guys a supplement.

Not a huge fan of SM.

I can see the need for a SM army, as they are kind of iconic to the setting

They just don't need multiple books with special super-pixie rules for each that one-up each other.

They also need to stop stealing the good stuff from Xenos armies. It gets old.

Necrons and Space Wolves.

Necrons because it feels like they have a "I win" button for every situation. I prefer factions to have weaknesses so that when they do win it's all the sweeter. Tyranids can be beaten at the very least it'll be just incredibly difficult to do so.

Space Wolves because of how super special they are made out to be. They got their own special wolf powers, special wolf wolves and wolves on wolves.

I agree on Necrons but disagree on Wolves. They have special abilities that make them unique, but they aren't necessarily more powerful. (Except Jaws. Jaws is ridiculous.) If they had fluff that said all their stuff was not only special and different, but biggerer and betterer and rarer and more awesomey than anything else that anyone had ever, then I'd see your point. But being unique doesn't equate superiority, just being different.

Tau and just Tau.

I find their philosophy for the greater good flawed. In reality people do not do things for the whole, they do it for themselves; sometimes it also benefits the whole.

Also I find them very arrogant, even more so than other races.

Thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis, Oh sweet christ this. There is no more confused, contradictory, and derpy faction in 40k than the Space Wolves. Dark and brooding executioners, or wild party bros? Violent berzerkers or cunning subtle tacticians? Total softies for the little guy or ice cold killers? werewolves or exemplars of the Emperor's finest? Cunning spymasters or Drunk Pranksters? 80's punk rocker style or Old man of the Mountain? Lets not even get into firing artillery by smell...

They try to be everything all at once and just come off like a tween's bad internet fanfic, on top of in many ways being "Space Marines+1".

Also, not a fan of the new necron fluff. While its nice to have some more depth to them, it took away their 'dread' factor, and now they're just Tomb Kings in Space. Likewise, while I love the Imperial Guard, Cadians with their stock heads look stupid (they all look painfully constipated) and the less said about the awful Catachans the better. If the IG visuals were more predominantly Vostroyan, Krieg, etc they'd be much more interesting to most people.

I will admit that the most recent edition went overboard on the wolves.
Canis Wolfborn? (AKA Wolf Wolfborn?) Riding on a thunderWOLF while fighting with two WOLF claws and carrying a WOLFtooth necklace and and WOLF tail amulet with saga of the WOLF. Yeah...
Still.
I was disappointed by the addition of emotions to the Necrons. I feel like they used to be the Yin to tyranids Yang, (all metal, all flesh, race from before/outside the known universe, devoid of emotions, controlled by a hive mind of sorts...) but now that they're actual emotional people they lost that.
Tau seems bland. I'll admit I don't know a massive amount about them, but I feel like they seem too normal. Their rules and models are fun, it's just their history and fluff that doesn't seem to bring a lot to the table.

Plenty of settings, such as star was move forward, it's just that going forward badly tends to anger people far more that comfortable stagnation.

Necrons. Robot zombie space Egyptians, is way too many things for one army to be. They should have been pure and simple robot's, with a zombie feel, not tomb kings in space.

I just can't take it seriously when I hear thing's like Phaeron, or see pyramid monolith's surrounded by robot scarab's and a lord with a pharaoh crest, but have to believe it just "happened" to be very very similar to Egypt on earth, despite being a completely separate race.

Necrons, in my mind, should be a cross between the terminators from the terminator movie (In look, it's undeniable ), zombies, with a spash of the machines from the matrix (Wraith's fit that idea well, and I do like those models, probably because they are much less "Egyptiony" than scarabs and monolith's and such )

I get that eldar are space elves, but aside from the basic appearance, they are not exactly high elves, they have their own feel in 40k, necrons just seem like a copy-paste attempt of tomb kings to me.
