For vehicles you are better off with pizza boxes than with greenstuff. Greenstuff doesn't suit well to large* sharp/flat surfaces.

*large>miniature sunglasses.

If you really must use green stuff (which is very silly) I recommend making simple slates and blocks (let gs harden first, use knife to cut it to shape) which you use to build body of the vehicle.

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.

If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.

Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

Yeah, GS for vehicles would be better suited to filling joins and making smaller details if you didn't have bits to manufacture them. For the main body of the vehicle I would use plasticard or stiff cardboard.

I agree. Plasticard and cardboard is much better for vehicles.
And definitely cheaper too. I can't see much use for GS other than really fine details (not very orky) and gap filling.

Maybe you could also use some templates for 40k paper models as a basic shape for your vehicles and orkify them.
Here is a long list of different examples: http://www.4shared.com/dir/2PQOMQdP/Eli_Patoroch.html#dir=2PQOMQdP
You could just print them out, glue them on cardboard and build away. Or if you want them more durable use plasticard of around 1mm thickness. But you'll have to change the template a bit as you have to keep the 1mm thickness in mind for corrected measurements.
