So I saw that GW stopped allowing many stores to sell bits earlier this year, leaving us hobbyists in ambitmofma bind. S the question is, is there anywhere left where you can buy bits? Specifically I'm looking for Tau crisis suit plasma rifles and a couplemof sky ray turrets.

Not sure, my usual sources appear to have pulled those. My only suggestion is to find other people who are building Crisis suits with no plasma rifles or build some Crisis suits without plasma rifles yourself.

You could try the Swap Shop or Bartertown, but that's all I can think of though.

I second that: I recently built a new 3000 point army and found all the bits I needed on there.

The problem I find with bits sites isn't that they have pulled their bits, it's just that they go out of stock very quickly.

With bit sites I always find that they have lets say 10 of the swords I need but only 5 of the arms, so I end up having to go to another site to order the 5 remaining arms.

It is much easier just going on ebay instead of having to do a balancing act with shopping carts/stock levels between 2-3 websites.

ebay.

best thing to do is find an item you are interested in and shop from that seller. They usually combine shipping making it all just a few bucks or a small increase per item (either way its WAY cheaper than buying 1 bit and paying shipping) and unless its a random dude they always have a bunch of stuff.

I had random bitz box that came with the 2nd hand tau army i bought. No idea where some of these bitz came from but all i needed were some plasma weapons, a torso, and 2 heads and i had 2 more crisis suits so i bought them (and many more for Orkiness conversions) from some dude on ebay for maybe 20USD including shipping...and i bought a fair bit of stuff.

An ork with an idea tends to end with a bang.

Tournaments are also an option. I've won lots of stuff for taking 1st place at local tournaments. I won 4 Crisis suits at the last one and parted them out.
