The first one. Stripping hull points should never be plan A against the helldrake. However, the helldrake is one of those weird cases where the lascannon is actually better than the bright lance. Even still, any pen is valuable against the helldrake.

The first one for sure, but none of those options are great against Heldrakes without getting in the back armour. Eldar have better choices such as Serpents and Spiders.

one of those weird cases? A lascannon is better than a brightlance for everything except AV14(monolyths, Leman Russ, Battlewagons, and Land Raiders)

I have Serpents in both lists, and spiders with the Venom. Just trying to figure out which is better insurance.

Serpents are TLSL/shield/cannon. Twin-linking the shield via Laser Lock is just too good for me to go the TLBL route. Agree or disagree?

Oh yeah. I guess that's true. For some reason, I also put bright lances above lascannons in my brain.
