Just something I made messing around. Good/Bad/Ugly?
ORKS + NECRON ALLIES
HQ: Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thrakka (Warlord)= 225pts
HQ: Ork Bikerboss (Cybork, Klaw, Bosspole)= 140pts
TROOPS: 5 Meganobs in Wartrukk (Reinforced Ram)= 240pts
TROOPS: 5 Bikernobs (Painboy, Cyborks, 2 Klaws, Waaagh! Banner)= 350pts
TROOPS: 12 Shootas in Wartrukk (Reinforced Ram)= 112pts
TROOPS: 12 Shootas in Wartrukk (Reinforced Ram)= 112pts
TROOPS: 12 Shootas in Wartrukk (Reinforced Ram)= 112pts
HQ: Destroyer Lord (Warscythe, Sempiternal Weave, Resurrection Orb)= 170pts
TROOPS: 5 Warriors in Nightscythe= 165pts
TROOPS: 5 Warriors in Nightscythe= 165pts
FA: 5 Canoptek Wraiths (3 Whipcoils)= 205pts
Total= 1996pts
Really just throw everything across the table as fast as possible and hope for the best "lol." Nothing too complicated. Plenty of scoring units, couple flyers, really hard hitting combat stuff. "Gee I hope I don't see any Helldrakes?"
Could swap Ghazghkull for Megaboss + Annihilation Barge + Mindshackle Scarabs or something. Originally had 2 Dakkajets in the list and ADL with Comm-Link for 4 Turn 2 Flyers.

Isn't gazzy 250 points ?
in any case, as cool as gazzy is, a Big Mekk with Kustom Forcefield would do better in that slot, seeing how you have 4 trukks, also oppening up a ton of points to add more stuff (like an extra biker or meganob or whatnot)

A thought. Bringing barges for the necrons adds a lot of survivability for your trucks. More tough target priority w/ av 13. Other wise, make 1 crn sq. 10, and bring a doom scythe for str. 10 anti tank to help out the boyz.
While the nightscythes won't help until at least turn 2. If you run the night scytges, run necrons and more than just 2 and use the orks for allies to hold the table till the necrons come on.
I just thought of this, swap out the scythes for barges, run then butt to butt for a true av 13 wall to hide your orks behind, move forward for a turn or two then leap out with every thing you got, wraithes, boyz, manz.

Nope, Ghaz is 225pts. I say keep him so that you can run him with the MANZ. Even if he does get challenged and you decline for some odd reason, you still have 5 more MANZ with PKs backing him up. For grins and giggles I'd take MSS on a Necron Lord if at all possible (I'm a bit fuzzy on what can take Mindshackle with the Necrons). That'll deter any CC on him and whatever unit you're running him with.

Yeah Ghazzie stays. A KFF for trukks is a silly idea, it's twice the cost of a trukk and means the MANz aren't scoring. The Trukks aren't supposed to last more than a turn once they're in the open. Probably more than a few situations where I'll just pump them upfield 24" and leave it at that. Any that manage not to get blown up is a real treat, hah.
Do want MSS on the Lord. Had to cut 20pts and that seemed like the least "necessary" thing, but they're certainly worth having. D Lord runs with the Wraiths, of course.
Barges are an interesting thought (you mean Arks, though. I think). Problem there is total lack of flyer stuff. List becomes even more one-dimensional than it already is.... But you're right, more targets is always good, obviously that's why I've bothered with a bunch of flakey trukks!
Changes:
HQ: Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thrakka (Warlord)= 225pts
HQ: Ork Bikerboss (Cybork, Klaw, Bosspole)= 140pts
TROOPS: 4 Meganobs in Wartrukk (Reinforced Ram)= 200pts
TROOPS: 5 Bikernobs (Painboy, Cyborks, 2 Klaws, Waaagh! Banner)= 350pts
TROOPS: 10 Shootas in Wartrukk (Reinforced Ram)= 100pts
TROOPS: 10 Shootas in Wartrukk (Reinforced Ram)= 100pts
HQ: Destroyer Lord (Warscythe, Sempiternal Weave, Mindshackle Scarabs, Resurrection Orb)= 190pts
TROOPS: 10 Warriors in Ghost Ark= 245pts
TROOPS: 10 Warriors in Ghost Ark= 245pts
FA: 5 Canoptek Wraiths (3 Whipcoils)= 205pts
Total= 2000pts even

If you could squeeze 15 pts from somewhere giving the warboss an attack squig, might help as well.

Im keeping this list alive for my own selfish reasons mwaahahaha. But IMO Boyz don't belong in Truks only nobz or meganobz. The ghost arc can put out sooooo much more fire power than the flying crescent roll. I wantOrkcrons to smash the frog 'eads sooooooo bad. Lets change the meta,!!! Frigin Taudar.... Yuck. Automatically Appended Next Post: Veto wraiths. Boyz can do the crumping.....

You have problems with fish'eads? I find they have enormous troubles with Battlewagon Rush. Their AT relative to the old codex (where Broadside Railguns were S10) has taken a hit and mass AV14 with smart movement is hard for them to crack before you unload 10 nobs+ on their line, which is far more than enough to both withstand an army's worth of Overwatch and also then wipe said army up with a choppa-mop.
Eldar are a serious problem for Ork though, I think I agree on that.
I have no idea if this is any bit the sort of list that would, uhh, "change the meta." It does include Trukka Mobs.....................
(No, Boyz don't really belong in Trukks. They exist for one reason only, in fact, and that's so I have more stuff to throw in my enemy's face at once. However, given I already have 2 Nobz Mobz, possible to just drop them altogether, for some sort of support unit somewhere?)
Drop 1 Trukka mob and I get an annihilation barge. Or drop 2 and pick up something else?
EDIT: Really drop the wraiths? I don't think so. Boyz are not even close to being as aggressive as the D-Lord and Wraiths are.
