I was just wondering what the best game youve had recently is?

Mine was at a tournament on saturday agaist another eldar player i managed to kill his wraithknight and his wraithguard and blades but his one warpider made it a draw with linebreaker.

Would have to say a game between my Forgeworld Elysians (using the IA32E book) took on my buddies Gunline Tau. Not one but two of my Valks were shot down in the first turn thanks to interceptor, but both ended up crashing inside his Aegis Defence line slaughtering a massive amount of his Fire Warriors and his Fireblade!

It was a game me and a friend had with both playing orks! deffskulls vs freebooters our reason for the fight was who got to keep the loot after a campaign we had

at 1500 points My death skulls obliterated an Ultramarine force. Not one of my nob bikers died and they single handedly took out 10 Assault marines, a chaplain, a las predator with that unique tank pilot and a 5man combat squad. They were also the only unit to hold an objective. it was the mission where there were only 2 objective markers.

My battlewagon deff-rolla'd his HQ and command squad. where I was able to finish off his HQ that had been softened up by the lootas with the 20 boyz that were in the squad.

The only unit he had left at the end of the game was tellion and 4 snipers.

Last Saturday, I had a large tau force with an allied detachment of Dark Eldar mounted in raiders.I faced a Terminator heavy Dark Angles force. While my opponent felt the Fire Warriors presented the larger infantry threat I was able to run the raiders behind locking in his troops and trapping them. From there, I cut down all his infantry the following turn.

I played a game where Farsight and Shadowsun finally got over their differences and teamed up for the greater good and dropped down together right in front of an imperial guard gun line armed with las cannons, 2 annihilator leman russ, a bane wolf, 3 chimeras loaded up with heavy weapons and one with his warlord. Oh and two vendettas. So they dropped down together with 7 battle suits and 12 gun drones all with stealth and shrouded. Shadowsun busted open the chemical tank 2nd turn and proceeded to wreak havoc on this guy's behind the aegis defense line, ignoring every save possible. Every turn he shot at it with all he had but failed to kill Farsight, Shadowsun, the support suit, and one other body guard. It basically ended with me killing every one of his units on the ground except for a leman russ. I won 6 to 0, claiming line breaker, slay the warlord, first blood, and 1 objective.

Well that sounds like a massacre. I was looking to ally Tau with my orks and specifically to use Shadowsun with some stealth suits and a few drones. Have you run shadowsun and a stealth squad separately before? How'd they do?

Not too good, they did manage to kill a bunch of units but got whipped by the old dire avengers with blade storm and a far seer shoving 30 some odd rerollable shots at her unit.

1850 pts, BA vs Daemon Flying Circus. It was a blood bath. At the end of the game there were 3 plaugebeares holding one objective, half a tac squad of the other, a squad of 5 flamers wandering around an abondond ruin, a lonely terminator lost in the woods and an attack bike trying to run down 6 daemonetts.

1200 DW vs Nids.

The only things left in the board was a TH/SS termie fighting a hive tyrant, and 2 SB/PF termies shooting at a Zoan. DW lost due to line breaker.

Not my game but it was amazing to watch... A person playing Dark angels mixed list against Orks which was pure bodies. 2000 points a side and the Orks were defending...

Somehow the Dark Angels tabled the Ork player... Turn five came and it looked like the few Ork boys left would stay held up on their defense point and then fate had it's way and allowed the game to go two more turns. DA swarmed the terrain being held and it was a bloody massacre.

I recently played a 1K necron game and a 1K daemons game.

With daemons it was a tides turning sort game. I had 2 grinders and a greater daemon, he had CSM with a mace prince. He was ready to throw in the towel asap, but then popped both grinders on turn 2 and 3. Then my LoC got into CC with his DP and the entire game depended on which big daemon won. LoC came out without a scratch and then went to kill most of the rest of his army.

Necrons was fun, but my opponent had no anti armor, so I wouldn't say it was my best recent game.

My Necrons have been sitting on a shelf for awhile, in favor of IG. I decided to break them back out recently, when after beating me at a couple of games, one of the local Tau players' trash talking got on my nerves a little. So in our next game, I played Necrons (which he'd never faced before). Wraiths and DLord went from one unit to the next, exploding tanks and squishing infantry, all while shaking off dozens of supporting fire shots. Meanwhile, the scarabs chased his Riptide into a corner and kept it tied up there for 4 straight turns. By turn 5 all he had left was the Riptide and a crippled Devilfish.

His post-game silence was the best reward I could hope for

A game I had against jy2s Draigowing and Crons a couple days ago.

Use y Eldar against a BT player. He liked to brag that no one had ever taken out his "Black tide".

I cut them down in 2 turns.

Had a great tournament game vs. Tau. Farsight bomb and Firewarrior castle vs. my Mech IG. Manticores absolutely pulped the FW Castle on T1 before the Farsight bomb came down. Spread out my units so that even with split fire, it would be difficult to kill multiple units. Sniped the Split Fire suit accidentally due to LOS blocking. Highlight of the game was my CCS jumping on my opponent's Icarus lascannon and smoking his Riptide.

Amazing game though...opponent ran into some foul luck and was a great sport.

OMG! Zone of Mortalis game. We got brutalizes by a 5th ed starter set ork list! good times.

Damn, thats funny I played the opposite game with the opposite results.

Might not be my best game, but favorite recent game: my WB vs Lysander IF

I got two squads of Cultists into various CCs. The one lead by my Black Mace Dark Apostle fighting Vulkan(who was with a Squad of Tacs) and my Cultist Champ tying up a Termie Sarge in the Tac termie squad.

Cultist Champ Kills termie, Turned into a Daemon Prince.

Dark Apostle Kills Lysander, 21 "feth! Reroll!" 22. >.>

So the Chaos Gods don't dig someone killing Lysander in a one in a million CC, but they'll lap up some random Terminator Sarge being killed by a cultist in another one in a million CC.

Best as in.. closest game? or as in.. I smashed him to kingdom come

I played my tyranid friend the other day...
I stole initiative
and had him tabled by turn 3... he only killed 2 fire warriors all battle

I had fun... he didn't...

Crons vs Nids


The guy had 3 Zoanthropes with him... i had 1 Canoptek Spyder with gloom prism... Not even a single Zoanthropes Psychicpower could land is i kept negating them...

1 Volley of 20 rapid fire weapons killed 3 Warriors that were charging my warriors

Squad of 10 tesla immortals wiped 2 squads of gaunts and took a spore drop pod with them.. (2 squads were moving side by side ;P gotta love chain tesla)

Annihalation barge utterly annihalated a squad of genestealers..

Lychguard/Zahndrekh and a lightning field cryptek laughed as they shot down 3 genestealers on overwatch and then obliterated the rest with the lightningfield before killing the last one in CC...

That all happend in the first 2 turns.... by turn 3 i still had about 1k Necrons left and he was down to his last 500 points....
