Subject: New formula of Vallejo gloss varnish

Hey guys,
I have ordered a new bottle of vallejo gloss varnish and tried it yesterday. This a completely different varnish from the one I was using previously and in my opinion worst. It is clear than than milky and when I use on the airbrush I get no "wet surface" and it dries to quite a matt finish rather than a glossy one. Has anyone tried it? And have any advice on how to use it?

I do not have a lot of experience with Vallejo Varnish, but I bought my supplies in the last couple of weeks and they worked fine.
When spraying the Glossy Varnish, it looks first matt, then glossy and then milky depending on much you saturate the surface. So I'd say matt means too little varnish and milky too much.
Compared to doing a coat of paint, I found that I had to apply more material to get the glossy/wet effect.

Which one are you using the old gloss varnish or the new polyurethane varnish? I had no problems with the former it is the new one that works weirdly

I've used "Gloss Varnish" reference # 70.510.
What are you using?

Hmm. I cannot find that reference on their website.
They list only:
70.510 Gloss Varnish 17 ml.
26.517 Gloss Varnish 60 ml.

The old varnish 60ml is
62.064
The one he has is a new formula, not sure if other people have the same problem.
