Starting csm mine was nurgle. Then I started collecting daemons of chaos... Then I sold NH csm and went exclusively daemons. Now I find my favorite God to be tzeentch. Anyone have this happen to them? Also I'm interested to great what your favorite god I'd and why. I like tzeentch because of of how he craftsdestiny and he can char his foes at will.

My favourite greater daemon is the LoC, but overall I prefer nurgle.

I like models that look rugged and weathered.... what better to represent this than 10,000 year old traitors with rotting bodies, fused to their power armour. The deathguard PM art in the 3.5 codex is awesome.

Gotta have to be Khorne, straight up slaughter everyone, not much more to it

Khorne. Simple no nonsense god of death. Don't exactly like the fanatics who follow him like bezerkers, I just like the "Collecting Skulls For The Skull Throne" part

I like all of them, depending on my mood. Slaanesh less so though. I think GW find it hard to make that god interesting without delving into some pretty NSFW material...

I'm not getting any younger and Nurgle appreciates his followers more. So what if your toes fall off, at least you don't have an eternity of torment to look forward to with the other three.

When I first got into 2nd Ed with some other school mates, I bought a simple metal Space Marine Tactical Squad box and began painting them up. At first Ultramarines, then Dark Angels.

Then I got bored.

So I started reading the rulebooks and fluff and found these really awesome and bizarre Chaos Gods to be fascinating. The stories about them seemed so unreal and twisted and I loved coming up with my own stories for them, playing into the archetypes the represented.

So I decided to switch armies.

Looking around it seemed that everyone played Khorne, which seemed too easy (especially because Berserkers seemed way too good to my mind back in the day). So I would go for the exact opposite, Slaanesh.

I bought a bunch of the old metal Noisemarines (Still better models IMHO) and began laying down a wall of sound in my games, followed swiftly by some old giant crab claw Daemonettes to possess my marines if the enemy got too close for comfort.

Good times, good times.

And now I have about 3,000 points split pretty 50/50 between a Chaos Marine warband that I love making up fluff for and a growing Daemon Horde that needs lots of painting.

(Obviously) I'm going to go with Slaanesh. I've always been intrigued by the, "Experience so much that everything becomes dull and worthless," aspect of his worship.

I find them all kinda unsettling, to be honest. But if I had to pick a favourite, I guess I'd go for Tzeentch. His scheming nature certainly makes him interesting.

I like Khorne the most because his followers want to find the most bad person they can and chop their head off and claim it for the skull throne.

Nurgle, for he is one hell of a jolly old sod. Nurgle cares and he loves you. He brings you family, love and the time to embrace that love fully. He accepts you for who you are, just stay that way. Don't wash, don't change. You're great the way you are.

Or Khorne, as he has Khârn. He's quite frankly a delightful fellow to be around. Despite his horrid reputation, he is actually a deep-minded and fun-loving sort of bloke in or outside of glorious, exalted combat. A truly rare breed of super-human, daemonically-enhanced abomination to nature, who just wants to have wild and heretical times with his friends.

Tzeentch, with a close second being Slaanesh.

Why fight when you can manipulate through guile or weakness ? ;D

Nurgle is my favorite character in the 40k series. He seems like one of the only entities in the universe that isn't a complete dick.

Khorne. Some see him as boring, I just see him as dedicated.

Pretty much the above though I will add I'm not desperate enough for Nurgle.
If everything went my way I would have liked to worship Tzeentch, but given my lifestyle I would probably end up as a spawn real quick or as a part of the lazy Slaanesh cult.

But I love Tzeentch for all his clandestine ways and of course the magic ;D

Slaanesh. I always liked Noise Marines, and their whole "That looks fun, let's... yup, that IS fun!" approach to treachery during the HH. I fell into Slaanesh's lore as a result.
