Need to make a bunch, was thinking of just adding plastic tube to the end and calling it good. But if there are better alternatives out there im listening.

warhammer 40k mmo. If I can drive an ork trukk into the back of a space marine dread and explode in a fireball of epic, I can die happy!

Looks like you want a stalker pattern bolter. best way to get that is to take a space marine scout pistol, chop off the "silencer" part on the muzzle and then take the scope off of the pistol

Built this as my Telion. Bolter with the end cut off, then a cut down IG lasgun glued on.

@gealgain: I think this is what you mean by a "stalker pattern bolter"

made from cutting these three parts off of an SM scout pistol

@Orock: you could also take the ink tube from an old ballpoint pen and make sort of an M110 SASS kind of look

these are really crude, but hope they help!

the top one is exactly what i'm speaking of!
i've made a couple fo them for my space marine scouts, rules wise- i swap the pistol out for the sniper rifle and just modify the guns to look like that.

How about this one:

Sorry for the quality of the image (iPod), but essentially it was just the master-crafted bolter from the command squad set, with the scope from the plasma pistol from the commander set on top (Although you could just as well use a standard bolter, and the tac squad comes with a couple of M40 scopes). The silencer was just a round piece of sprue found on one of the larger sprues.

Of course, you could always opt for the FW Mk IV Recon sniper-bolter. You could pick one of those up on ebay easily enough.

I'm not sure if you are looking bits from non GW makers but this is something I plan on doing for my scouts.

The rifle is from anvil industries, and so far I had nothing but great service from them, and their products are quite good. I have a few other shots of it in my gallery, but it the look of an anti-material rifle.

Apologies to the OP for the minor hijack here, but where did you get that second scouts head jb? (The one with the .50) - It looks badass
