Hey Im doing a daemon army for 40k and im theming my plague bearers with power tools I have chainsaws from hoardObitz but I would like some others. Does anyone have any links to some other small bitz or toys that would work? im looking for drills other saws and such.
Maybe check out the ork kan/dredd close combat weapons - most of them are repurposed circular saws and drills etc. although they might be a bit over-scale...
Also check out 1:35/1:48 'workshop' kits (for military models or for cars/trucks) at your local model shop.
Drills are fairly easy - make some sort of boxy power tool shape (could be as easy as a converted bolt pistol), and add a tiny real (but shortened) drill bit in a hole in the front.
Ork Nob Box has a Bionic Circular Saw Arm, and a Bionic Jackhammer Arm, Stuff to make a Power Claw that looks more like an ice Block grabbing Claw. than a Power Claw..Kromlech has a line of Grabbing Claws and a line of Mechanical Arms that all end in tools .
tools for Doll houses also work ..Can be found at Michales or Hobby lobby
