I used a variety of plastic rods, a screw and a small bit of thicker gauge floral wire to create this servo arm. I'm not going to include measurements I would suggest you just use whatever you have laying around. I intend this tutorial to be more inspirational than instructional. It only took about 15 minutes to create. I hope you enjoy...

First I found a small screw and matched it with a hollow plasticard tube.
I then cut a section of square rod and cut a matching section from the hollow tube.

I glue those together, cut the head off the screw and inserted it into the hollow tube
I carved up and drilled another piece of square rod as seen below. Taking another piece of hollow tube I carved a piece out to mate it with the square bit.

Once these where mated and glued together I punched two small circles out of a sheet of plasticard. These could have also been sliced of the end of a rod.

The circles where glued on either side of the arm where the tube and square bit met.
I carved up another square bit and drilled a small hole in the side to fit my floral wire. I also sliced the a small piece off the end of a hex rod

assembled it looks as such...

Next I sliced a small bit of H bar rod and a length of very thin flexible circular rod.

I glued the hbar to the arms base and connected the thin rod from the back of the drill (which has a small opening) to the hbar.
for details I sliced several pieces from a small hex rod

Here is the finished product next to another that I made. *note I later cleaned up the rough bit just above the first joint.

This is so innovative! It looks so complicated, yet you break it down into super-simple steps and it screams kickassery when done !

Thanks man, This is my first Dakka tutorial. It was fun making it, although next time I will focus a bit more on picture quality. lol once they are cropped and magnified they look pretty blurry.

Yeah, my photography is Gak too, If your camera has a MACRO setting, try that. I let my camera do the thinking on auto for wide shots, but macro seems to work for closeups. That sorta helped me.
