I've never followed a release this closely before. Shouldn't GW have all of the pictures and ordering stuff on their website today so people could order if they want?

Typically they go up on Saturday IIRC.

The US should see everything posted around 7 PM Eastern Time.

Usually GW puts up Advance Orders around midnight GMT so that orders begin on Saturday. This means that if you're in the US it's around 7 PM Eastern time.

Note that there have been occasional exceptions, there was one time at least in the past year that Advance Orders were already up early in the morning here in the US and other times where things went live about an hour or so before midnight GMT.

I had told her I thought the game would be over at around 3pm. it ended up going until about 5pm. she was home watching our kid. anyway, i got home, we had a fight and she accused me of caring more about the game than i did our family. I smashed my army of orks. At the time I only had enough to fill the battleforce box, about 1000 points. I put my fist straight through the box. almost every piece in there came apart and I cut my hand open as well.

After that she believed me that I would gladly give up my hobbies for our boy. I have since reassembled everything. Luckily everything came apart at the glued areas. There may have been a couple chipped areas, but nothing noticeable, at least not noticeable on an ork army haha.

I'm thinking this was indirectly a reply to my post. He was demonstrating his clever rouse. You see, knowing that orks were in bits that can be easily reassembled with no one being the wiser, he took the gamble on such a display. Moral of the story? It paid off. All according to plan.

I'll promise my firstborn in exchange for a favor, enjoy said favor, and then when the unmentionable fey-folk come up to claim their end of the bargain, either I or the adolescent child will have to come up with some clever way to outwit them. This is of course complicated by the fact that GW's Faerie of choice probably have law degrees, but I'm sure we can beat them in a game of riddles. Maybe.

I know I told my wife, I be home for 11:00pm. I came home after 2:00am. Luckily I didn't have to go through the extremes you did. I guess, my wife likes I play with plastic toy soldiers instead of playing with members of the opposite sex.

I was excited then i relized my army will be in validated whith the new codex so i just sold the last of my marines for cheap don't want to ripe people off by saleing outdated models I'm just upset that i have to re build my sm because they been updated i feel bad when orks get updated that's a lot of models that become useless

Old models rarely become useless unless they just make the rules bad, like Railgun broadsides lol. There isnt anything in the ork codex that is good that they would nerf to unplayable. If anything, lootas and i doubt they would nerf them to unplayable unless they gave us a LOT of replacement options since we kinda depend on them these days.
Nerf bikernobz? Now thats just dumb because big burly orks on bikes fits the fluff sooooo perfectly its scary lol

Incidentally, making a model less desirable is fairly common but making it unplayable is almost unheardof. Also, 70% of the ork units are already worthless anyway except in a fun list lol

I always get excited for a new army release. Every army that gets updated, that's one less army GW has to do before sisters get their time in the spotlight..... so 8 more to go lol

But then 7th ed hits the shelves, and the cycle goes back on.

So when this DOESN'T happen, and your old army remains (a)legal, and (b)playable, can we remind you of this post as we provide some humble pie for you to eat along with it?

Stop scaremongering and passing off misinformation. Your army won't be invalidated. The next marine dex will still have tac marines, assault marines, devastates, terminators etc.

That's a silly move zilka, and I can guarantee you will feel like a bit of a fool after the release of the new dex, and you see that doesn't happen.
Its Rubbish, my good man. Old tacs and vets are still legal, playable and fieldable. They're still tacs and vets after all...

And after the new codex hits, and you see all the marine players still using all their old marines? Can I point you to this and show you that you were wrong?


A repackaging is not the same as a replacement and its certainly not an invalidation...
