In fact, if you decide to keep the Command Barge, drop the Weave and a few more Warriors from the Ghost Arks to be able to afford a Phase Shifter.
With those many vehicles, giving one of your Spyders a repair claw would be a good idea. Might as well throw in a Gloom Prism as well. RemoveIf possible, but the Scarabs up to 10. Remove more Warriors from Ghost Arks to afford the points needed (you only really need 5 in each).
Thanks for the repsonse! I was starting to worry that my theory was so bad that nobody would respond to it out of pity for my failed tactica.
I agree on the Ark squads. I'd really mostly utilize these guys for late game objectives, and the occasional ark shields (situational.) As far as the Phase Shifter, I meant to edit this to include that over the weave since he's on the
CCB anyway.
I did consider the Claw for the spyders, I've been tweaking the list for a couple hours to work the points in for it. I thought about the gloom prism, but it seems to lopsided for me for the points. I hate template weapons (they scare me.) and having blobs that close to a unit that people like to target simply to avoid psyker seems a little risky, i'd prfer just killing the psyker. (There are some things however that I think would suck. Chaos Daemons in particular are nice tarpits, and you might be right here with the gloom prism depending on the situation. I'll definitely consider it.
The scarabs... well, I've always hated scarab factory builds, but that's why they are there, that and
HP removal. I figure with any luck my spyders could breed a few more to boost their numbers before they get into
CC lockup. But freeing up points in the ark teams could bolster the number. I'll go over this list with your suggestions and update it when I get somewhere.

Well I reworked the list a bit following your suggestions, lost some guns, but I did work out two possible lists both of which (in perhaps my flawed theory) seem solid.

Overlord
Warscythe
Phase Shifter

This build gives me 45 poinsts of play which I really love, possibly another cryptek? or perhaps some upgrades? Working the numbers I see a lot of possibilities here.
My other theory would dust a x5 Warrior/StormTek/Ark unit and add another x6 Wraith x3 Whip Coils squad. This would put me at 2240 pts, Give the StormTek Lightning Field for a "just in case" would put me at 2250 and give me a hellacious front line. I'm not entirely familiar with the 6th edition's rules but I think fast attacks can hold objectives??? If that is the case, then it's a very fair trade. But another problem would lie with any savvy player recognizing the role of a single ghost ark unit... after all crippling an opponent early is as easy as wrecking his transports... but with heavy hitting vehicles, it might swap prioritizing a bit.
