Link to Oathsworns 2nd ks. (There was another thread for the previous ks but a new thread seemed more relevent not to confuse people)

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/oathsworn/oathsworn-miniatures-heroes

I followed the first ks and picked up some of the dwarf warriors. Very nice sculpts and prompt delivery.

Some pics from 2nd ks.

I backed the last Oathsworn KS, the communication from Jo and Michael was excellent, there was regular updates even after the KS ended. When the miniatures arrived (before scheduled time if I remember correctly) they were amazing quality and the detail is so crisp.
I would certainly recommend backing this KS, you will not be disappointed!

I 100% agree, The first Oathsworn campaign is probably the best experience I've had with a Kickstarter to date. (Out of 20 or so miniature based campaigns that have/should've shipped by now...).

I'm not really a fan of Halfings in general, but i'm definitely going to be pledging for that amazing Dwarf king model.

Oathsworn certainly were my best Kickstarter experience to date (Closely followed by Critical Mass Games).

I really like the sculpting style, especially on the faces. I'm not the biggest fan of halflings but id love to pick up the Necromancer and Paladin because there such nice sculpts.

My favorite sculpt so far has to be the Fire Giant

The halflings are a bit cartoony in the face for my tastes, although that may just be because of the greenstuff. Also, there's something about the shieldbearer that makes him look more subjugated by his task than honored; I think it's the down-turned face. They're both nice models though, I just hope that they're separate pieces or easy to separate.

Looking forward to seeing where this goes. The last KS was really nicely done, and I'm sure this one will be as well.

Oathsworn was asked about the chief/shieldbearers on the Reaper forum and said they were a 2 part cast, chief on shield + Bearers

Why an owlbear? Why not something that hasn't been covered?

because owlbears are cool?

because pretty much everything (D&D) not protected by IP has been done before by somebody unless it's so specific to be useless?

I loved the first set of dwarves and I'm definitely keeping an eye on this. The sculpts were fantastic and the received models appear to have no/very few mould lines. Great stuff!

So far, looks like I'll be pledging for hired swords and the dwarven king from this kickstarter.

Just a handful...

I've started to notice that al of your female minis have the same face. Is this intentional?

Hey Bob - I'm the sculptor for the Oathsworn figures - I must admit, I'm not sure I agree that they all have the same face.

Here's 3 females from the current KS:

That said, I do try and keep the faces from a particular race in a similar style - so, for example, female halflings will all have relatively bigger eyes, female dwarfs get stronger cheekbones etc.

cheers,
Michael

OK, maybe it's because I'm only looking closely at your dwarf figures. What's a Tiefling, anyway?

from Wikipedia

Tieflings are a fictional race in the Dungeons and Dragons role-playing game.

Tieflings were originally introduced as humans with demonic ancestry. A Tiefling is a being whose lineage can be traced back to some degree or another to that of a fiend or demon within the Dungeons & Dragons universe. A tiefling should not be confused with a half-fiend as half-fiends are generally half mortal being and half fiend or demon, whereas the demonic lineage of a tiefling's ancestry often lies further up the family tree. In 4th Edition Dungeons & Dragons, Tieflings are a race whose human ancestors made a bargain with devils to increase their power.

Hi everyone, we've now unlocked all the stretch goals and added three more little extras that are exclusive to completionists, they are: a Juvenile Owlbear, a camp fire, and a Summoning circle - we'll cast these in resin along with the base inserts.

So for the completionist pledge you get:

We have also added a new pledge level, the 'cherry picker', for those whose want a bit of everything.

Hi everyone, Michael had a very successful trip to the mouldmakers last night where they master moulded the Dragon and did a test cast, he turned out great! ...so we can now include the Dragon in our kickstarter (he is about 160mm long x 115mm wide).

We have added a Dragon Pledge, so you can have him for £30 (+ £5 p&p if you are outside the UK)...but if you are in for the Completionist level you can have him half price for £15 (with no extra charge for p&p)...bargain!

Down to hours on this very nice little Kickstarter. I backed their previous campaign (the Dwarves) and I really can't speak highly enough of their communication, speed of fulfillment and quality. Check it out!
