2 wraith lords w/ scatter lasers and ghost glaives
I can drop the dire-sword and battle fortune from the dire avengers to get enough points to grab a guardian squad with a scatter laser, thoughts?

Not quite sure what sort of thoughts you want us to have?

If it is for fun and friendly games then go for it, who cares what anyone thinks.

If you are looking for performance tweaks then is it really for fun?

If it is for fluff then your motivation may need further descriptions as well.

Ok, I can work with that. I haven't dusted my own Eldar off for sixth edition as yet (too many other projects) but I can give you my two cents of nothing....

Immediately the Scorpions and Wraithlords jump out at me as somewhat out of place as they are so slow compared to the rest of the army. I expect the Scorpions will Infiltrate with Karandras?

The Scorpions could prove an excellent distraction that will allow the rest of the army a little time to maneuver, but I am not sure they would actually survive for very long....although if ignored they could punish a unit or to up close.

I am also not sure I am convinced with how many upgrades for the Exarch's you have taken, a lot of points could be saved by removing some of them. (Like you have already commented).

A camping Guardian Squad for objective sitting could go well, use the Rangers to try and hold a more distant objective and let the guardian squad hold the home field objective? They could go well with the Wraithlords playing baby sitter?

I have never been a fan of any of the CC weapon upgrades on the Dire Avenger Exarch's, my experience is that if they end up in CC then it is all but over, you may be able to challenge and preserve a little of the squad for a turn or to, but I would spend those points elsewhere.

I have rambled incoherently for far too long, hopefully something I have said makes sense.

Since the avengers really don't want to be hitting any form of combat, I'd drop the dire sword in place of the shimmershield. It's the same points and gives THE WHOLE squad a 5++ invun! 20 invun avnegers is nice once they are ouch the serpents. Also means you can drop battle fortune as you don't need the extra save when the whole unit has it. That's 30 points that can be used elsewhere.

Are your wave serpents stock? If so, this is where I would start using the saved points. Holo fields are almost a must, as is TL SL's.

crushing blow gives my exarch 4str and with the scorpion claw thats str 8 hits at ap2 at int 6 O.o

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the crushing blow modifier is added after the scorpion claw modifier. I made this self same mistake, and had it pointed out to me quite clearly in the rule book. So, he's just strength 7, sorry, no ID for battle suits and such :s
