Hey guys, just want your opinions about which color variation you like best of the following two. The A scheme is more green, and the B scheme is green with some grey/black to break up the green. The models are different, but just try to pick based on the colors.

Just trying to get things narrowed down as I start painting up more models. The chapter will the the Emperor's Pride chapter, not sure what successor it will be yet. Just vote and let me know, or comment about any other improvements you can think of. Thanks.

Scheme A

Scheme B

Sometimes, you just gotta take something cause the model is freakin cool...

The second looks the best imo.

The second scheme also has details that stand out more (OSL, Highlighting, and overall details) The black and grey adds a needed break up and depth to the figure. Beautiful work and good luck!

1. Go to FLGS on a 40K game night.
2. Announce to no one in particular "I have over 10,000 points of Space Marines".
3. Sit back and watch as some 30-ish Neckbeard who still lives with his parents not only disputes your claim, but goes on to describe his 30,000 points of Blood Angels and how he has been playing since Rogue Trader days... And yet you will have never seen him either play 40K or that army.
4. From here, you have several options. Continue the conversation, or just end it. Either way, I guarantee you will waste 1+ hour of your life talking to this guy. Have fun!

Voted B...I like the gold better than the yellow....black/gray kneepads I could go either way on. Just my opinion.

By the way...I really like the OSL on the eye lenses. I wanted to do something similar with my Dark Angels but was afraid to try it!

Definitely B. I like how the grey breaks up the green while remaining understated. Ignoring differences in painting quality (much cleaner OSL, darker, smoother green) and sculpt as best I can, it's still the strong leader.

Lol, I must be getting better, its always good to hear that the most current model is better than the last one.

The grey seems to be the overwhelming favorite, which I agree with. Looks like that will likely be the direction I go with them, I'll have to get around to making that first model match the overall scheme. Thanks for the comments so far guys.

The second is much better IMO, disregarding technique and looking strictly at the breaks in color

You seem to have improved upon your OSL skills when you did B, which of course makes B more better looking. Simple colour schemes aren't bad, but I do like B more because the grey just adds more visual interest IMO.
