I always think about the fact that it seems to be that GW is missing out on a small list of important characters who would make for pretty awesome editions to the various armies.

Here is my take on who deserves a model and some rules.

The Silent King - Necrons
Arhra - Dark Eldar
Colonel Schaeffer - Imperial Guard (I know he used to have rules, but he really should have a model and rules again)
Chapter Master Vladmir Pugh - Imperial Fists
Iron Father/Chapter Master Kardan Stronos - Iron Hands
Erebus - Word Bearers (this one has always blown my mind that he has no model and no rules, for 40k at least, and yes I know he just got a HH model)

Who am I missing?

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

The Doomrider. Like Schaeffer he had a model and rules. GW needs to bring him back.

I would also like to see Phoenix Lords for some of the other Aspects.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

I would to like to see some more characters for the other Space Marine chapters from C:SM. The Ultramarines got quite a lot of love, Black Templars got 3 characters, but the other chapters only got one character at most.

Hector Rex. His rules suck so much he needs new ones.

I pride myself in taking a punch and I'll gladly take another because I choose to live my life in the company of Gandhi and King. My concerns are global. Arhra has rules and a model , at least it's hinted to be him.

Drahzar.

Vect, Malys, Sliscus, Sathonyx Wazdakka,Zogwort would all like models

Gargantuan Gargant

Some Big Mek characters would be great, particularly the enigmatic Orkimedes, the one responsible for the incredibly powerful tellyporta technology Orks are able to use to transport entire stompas/gargants to a planet from great distances.

Other ones would probably be Cypher, Grog Ironteef, Zso Sahaal, Sevatar, Garro, Sigismund, Snagrod the Arch-Arsonist of Charadon, and out of curiosity The Beast. Malcador the Sigillite is another major contender given his role in the Heresy and founding of both the Grey Knights and the Inquisition & Administratum.

Drahzar is only rumored as being Arhra. There isn't anything solid on that. In fact, the book Path of the Incubi hints that he is not Arhra.

+1 for amberly vail, who'd fit very well in a codex: ordo xenos book, ideally allowing a single commisar and choices from codex:ig as part of her detachment, for the comedy value. (Won't happen, although the displacer field made it in finally)

I collect:
Guard - 2k of mostly infantry
DA - 2k of deathwing, 2k of other bits (no vehicles)
Sisters - mostly converted/proxy because I'm waiting for therange to go plastic.
Tau - 2k with no riptides because I can.

Tuska -An ork so badass he made Khorne go 'damn!'

DE Cryptoscientist Vorscht, just for how awesome the model would have to be, and the rules possibilities..

Displacer fields were available wargear in earlier editions of 40K. They seem to be going back to the older stuff a bit lately, so no bad thing.

I'm hoping for the old Madboyz and Ork Cybernetiks charts in the new codex

Seconded for the missing phoenix lords.

I'd like to see some more special characters for the Kroot. I knew they had one at some point but I'm not even going to try and spell it. I don't think it's in the game anymore. Could be wrong.

just to name a few.
