If we did consider BL to be canon then all of it would have to be, which allows in some absolutely godawful and contradictory fluff.

Goto for example...or some of the redonculous stuff from the Cain novels.

We can't do anything about godawful codex fluff, unfortunately.

Drahzar may be Ahrha, or he may not. I think he is. It has neither been explicitly confirmed nor denied. Unless they specificly say that he isn't in a codex or the rulebook he still may be

Or not.. I prefer the uncertainty. The lack of concrete 'this is so' in 40K is one of the best things about the setting, especially since most of the fluff is heavily biased by the source

While it sounds like the BL has trashed the idea of Drazhar as Arhra, there are so many references to him DEFINITELY being the original phoenix lord, such as Karandras fighting him being described as "Fighting his original mentor" Etc.

I'd like to see a Salaine Morn model, Archon of the Kabal of the Shadowed Thorns. She could be a pretty unique character, and given her exiled status/mercenary lifestyle, she would make a killer battle brother for a Eldar force, or vice versa


It certainly wouldn't be too hard to kitbash her from an Archon and an extra Wych head, and kit her out like an Archon (as she's supposed to be), but she would be more fun with some rules of her own. GW needs to snap it up and release models or release more DE characters. We get no love over here, come on

I'd like to see a special Assassin. Right now they're all faceless (and the rules and models always have been), but in their old Codex there were defined characters and enough intrigue and politics to rival the puritan/radical Inquisition divide.

It'd be a good excuse to explore another temple's technique, too.

Honsou and Forrix from the Iron Warriors.

Especially Honsou, a Chaos Lord/Warpsmith combo with some rule for his genetically engineered monstrosities would be awesome.
