Stubborn Dark Angels Veteran Sergeant

Ok, so for BA you still pay for the vet sarge, is it worth it to plop a power sword on him? or some other power weapon therof? the reason I ask is because he then has a much higher potential to kill that _____ enemy Sargent that is most likely going to take out ~3 guys alone. worthit?

I saw lightning claw/melta bombs, but that's just me. I had my own thread on this issue, and as you can see, most people vehemently disagreed with me.

Nope, combi-weapon and that's all. He's just a tax for the BA.

PW is a lot better than stock. depends on your points limit, though.

That's actually what happened, Horus is secretly a Tervigon.

I usually don't bother with a Power Weapon for Tacticals. Whenever I use them, I'll just keep him plain with Chainsword and Plasma/Boltpistol (plasma only because I have the DV Sgt. model).

A combi-weapon is always a good plan.

Remember, these guys are for shooting. Not CC.

yes combi weapon will do you much better than a PW, or PW and combi.

If you have a bonus in HtH, I see the value of combi and LC combo.
Would really only be relevant to Black Templar or Salamanders though.

If non veteran, power sword.
If veteran and charging, lightning claw.
If veteran and on the defensive, power sword.

Power mauls are also worth considering over a sword.

I normally would give a sgt a power weapon.

You carry the Emperor's will as your torch, with it destroy the shadows.
