After 6 days, i tried to bump my post in the swap shop, but each time i tried, it would just append the post to the original, allowing my post to fall back on the pages.' have i been doing something wrong? i had to delete my post, and repost it.

If so, according to the time stamps, you have about 6 hours to go before 4 days is up - the OP was on 22nd October.

when i clicked the link, the timestamp shows this-

As I type this, it is:

Which is under 4 days by about 7 hours or so.

If you've not set your specific time zone in your profile, then the swap shop timestamps are GMT, which will not match up to your local clock if you are outside Britain in winter.
