Imperial Fists successor chapter

115 - Chaplain, bike, melta bombs
155 - Command squad, bikes, apothecary, melta bombs

70 - 5 scouts, camo cloaks, sniper rifles (in bolstered ruins or outflank)
210 - 10 tactical marines, plasmagun, LC, rhino
210 - 10 tactical marines, plasmagun, LC, rhino

50 - aegis defence line

100 - thunderfire cannon
250 - 3 centurion devs, lascannons
220 - 10 devastator marines, 4 LC

60 - landspeeder, 2 hvy bolters (5 hits per turn average, "kite" outside small-arms range)
60 - landspeeder, 2 hvy bolters (5 hits per turn average, "kite" outside small-arms range)

1500 on the nose.

9 lascannons, 5 targets per turn if devs combat squad (3 twin-linked, all tank hunter)
potential 5 scoring units. 40 bodies.

I would drop the chaplin for a libby w/ prescience. or something else, Libbys are just so good.

Be great if it were possible, but the only SM libby that can get access to Prescience is Tigurius, and he's Ultramarines exclusive.

I would definitely invest in a Quadgun for the Aegis. You can't reliably kill Flyers and FMCs as your list is right now.

You also cannot reliably deal with AV14 vehicles. If someone is running two Land Raiders full of Terminators, how do you deal with that? Meltabombs aren't that great in practice.

I would recommend dropping both Land Speeders, using the points to:

1. Give 3-4 Meltaguns to the Command Squad.
2. Purchase a Quadgun for the ADL.
3. Get Missile Launchers for the Centurions (points permitting; I don't have my codex with me).

The 4 Heavy Bolters lost from the Land Speeders will be made up by the accurate Quadgun and the Missile Launchers.

My personal preference.

Flak missile for dev + ADL +quad gun and maybe 1 extra dev body to fire it at bs 5

No comment on centurions yet.

at least 1 meltagun on a tac squad as a back up.

double heavy flamers on land speeders are very useful though a bit suicidal but i like em.

Command squad seems very bare. they could probably use some grav guns which are there natural home.

Id say drop the centurions, bring in a captain with some nice juicy equipment like the Burning blade, and unlock some bike troops for better scoring power.

ChaosSun - so how would you improve it?

Gorgo, I'd love meltaguns and centurion MLs but then would lose the some anti-swarm from the landspeeders. ChaosSun would then laugh even more at me ;(

i would give all your cammand squad a heavy weapon. expensive... but toally worth it. grav, plamsa, whatever you wish.
any reason for a 10 man devie squad, instead of a 5 man with hvy weapons, then a 5 man tac sqaud wich could then score? chaplin would do better as capitian i believe, but your choice

So I don't have enough dakka for swarm armies, and I need to lose dakka to get more anti-tank. lol. hmmm!

ninjafired - I like your devastator comment - I was going for combat squadding the 10-man devs so I can fire at more targets, but 70 pts is too much to pay for that and a few ablative wounds. I can spend that 70 on something more.

gorgosaur - you're right my anti-AV14 is weak.

So, if I drop the dev squad to 5-men, and get rid of the melta bombs on the bikes, I'll have 80 points to spend on a landspeeder with dual multi-melta. I'm ok with an 80 pt suicide if it blows up AV14.

I dun good now?

Why not hammer of wrath?

Bikes being relentless and stuff. its the best place for Gravguns.

It wouldn't stop you from assaulting.
